Mass Approval Date Assigned!
Fellow Wooprites,
A few weeks after introducing Woopra beta in WordCamp Dallas, we are happy to announce that we are going to start a massive approval process on Friday 25 of April. A new version of the software will be released on that day that includes a couple of new amazing features (segmentation, directories tracking, improved user interface, enhanced instant messaging etc…). Note that you will receive an email upon approval.
We all thank you for being patient and supportive. Questions? Ask in the forums!

I’d like to be serene, “oh, cool, yeah, woopra. I’d like to try that.” But instead, I am emotionally lighting the torches and getting my pitchforks ready.

Thanks for the reminder! Yes, it’s taking time to approve the thousands of applicants. It will take much of the weekend and into next week as we work on the approval system to make it more efficient and responsive.
Remember, this wasn’t to go public for another month or so and we’re putting out fires as fast as we can.
The program and services are still in early beta testing and we’re thrilled with the anticipation, and doing the best we can. We’re not getting much sleep around here.
Trust me, the wait will be worth it! And again, thanks for being patient with us as we grow.

The approvals have started. We’re slowly approving people in small groups as not to overwhelm our new servers and setup. Originally, we had a cap on the number of users during the beta testing phase, but with help from Layered Technologies and 3Tera, we’re able to open those numbers up, so you may be one of the lucky ones.
Remember, this comes with a price. As one of the early testers, your feed back is critical to making Woopra a success. Please help us by giving us your thoughts on the Woopra Forums.

http://static.woopra.com/woopra_windows.exe — doesn’t work. Server not found. Can’t download WP plugin or Windows desktop application. Bummer.

I’ve tested the download link and installed it several times in the last few hours and it is working fine from my computer. Same with the Woopra WordPress Plugin. Clear your cache, possibly even reboot your computer to make sure there is nothing running in the background that could interfere with the download and installation. Some firewalls are causing problems.
We’re looking into the Linux installer issue and will get back to you soon. We’ve tested this thoroughly, but remember, we’re still in beta testing on everything, including the installation. Your reports within the Woopra Forums will help us troubleshoot and solve these problems. Thanks again for your patience.
