Yes, there is a bug, which is hard to reproduce but we’re working on tracking that down, which will be fixed in the next version…but are you sure this report is a bug and not the reality? You never know. :D

Doesn’t invalidate the contest. ;-)

Actually, the team is working overtime on fixing a lot of bugs, but they are timing their releases with the server migrations and such to minimize downtimes. Stay tuned for a new version – which you might miss as it updates automatically when you log in. I missed the first few upgrades.

The “support guys” are doing what they can to respond to every inquiry, but they can’t get to all of them. Notes are being taken and reports are filed constantly with the development team. So you are being heard. We’re a very small company and working overtime to connect with as many people as we can.

The high live user count thing is a bug. I reported this in the forums.. he’s a screenshot of my site with over 2000 live users :)

Thank you for coming back to me. It has been reported in the forums (you can find it tagged as bugs). Unfortunately it has not had much in the way of helpful or timely responses from the support guys :(

If I didn’t know already that Woopra will update itself (I have worked in tech support!), are you saying that it is ok for novice users to keep downloading and installing ‘the latest version’ from your page – just in the hope that a new version has come out because? Not everyone is aware that programs can update themselves and as far as I am aware it doesn’t tell people that it will auto update on the download page.

I now work in a Communications department so please excuse me if I seem to be ranting or telling you your job I just want you to continue to set new standards :)
