Woopra WordPress Plugin - Translations Needed!

Woopra Plugins, October 14th, 2008 by Elie K

For the Woopra WordPress Plugin version 1.3.8+, we have included the needed code for translations. You may download the POT file, which is needed for translating. This file on the SVN will always hold the current version translation file.

For any questions on how to ‘translate’ the POT file, follow the instructions on the WordPress Codex.

Please send all translations (zipped) to ‘shane [at] bugssite [dot] org‘ including, Your Full Name, Your Website. Send only completed translation files. Check this post to see if your language was received and validated.

Note: Subject should be ‘Woopra Translation - <Language>‘ otherwise it will get rejected.

Thanks in advance by helping out the Woopra Community!

I wanna help with this, I’ll make the translation for us Filipino users from Philippines. Our language here is called “Tagalog”
I wonder how many of us here use Woopra. :)

  2. Alexis Says:

Hi, do yo need only the .po file or both? (.po and .mo Files)

  3. Shane Says:

I would like the .po and .mo files so I have it. The POT files changes as I make changes to the plugin. So there become times that I might need to sync up the numbers and if I had the .po files, I can make changes without having to bug all translators to re-send me a new set.

  4. Thomas Krueger Says:

Here is a plugin to manage and edit all gettext translation files (.po/.mo) directly out of your WordPress Admin Center without any need of an external editor. Codestyling Localization. German plugin homepage.

    Estonian version coming up…

  19. Omar Says:

This is just a quick note, that the plugin has issues with another plugin (gengo). The use of “load_plugin_textdomain()” outside of the init-function is not recommended and prevents it from working with this multilingual plugin. I’ve writte about it here:
    http://omar.toomuchcookies.net/node/2008/10/gengo-and-woopra-plugin/en/

    Thanks.

Do you all have approved sites? I registered like a 2 weeks ago and my sites were “pending approval” ever since. So I regisred again, and again “pending…”. WHAT KIND OF SERVICE IS THIS? I don’t care if it’s shiny if it doesn’t work! :(

  38. Lorelle VanFossen Says:

    @ viahorizon:

We will be approving the last batch of beta testers before closing registration, as explained in Woopra Beta Registrations to Close Soon. We thank all our 50,000 beta testers for their hard work and expect their input to help us get Woopra better than ever in the next release. This way, the rest of the public will get the best version of Woopra without suffering through the pains of beta testing.

We will be approving the last batch soon, so stay tuned.

Does Woopra work with hosted wordpress (wordpress.com)?

  40. Lorelle VanFossen Says:

    @ azeemazhar:

Woopra does not work with hosted blog sites that do not permit Javascript, such as WordPress.com. However, we are working with WordPress.com with the hopes that they will embrace Woopra as an optional add-on, so let them know you want Woopra.

  41. patai Says:

    I sent the Hungarian translation.

  42. Kasper Hyllested Says:

When will you be releasing the translations? And do you have any plans on translating the client - perhaps with the help of these very helpful users :-)

    @ Kasper Hyllested:

We’re working on the translations. Expect some news soon. Thanks.

  44. Omar Abo-Namous » Blog Archive » Gengo and woopra plugin Says:

[...] I just found out, that there is a problem with running the woopra wordpress plugin together with gengo. Gengo is the multilingual plugin running in the background of this blog. Woopra is an external statistics program that has a nice wordpress plugin (which by the way is looking for some translation work itself). [...]
