Closing Woopra Beta Approvals: Sign Up Now!
The moment is here, and it’s now. You have two more days to sign up as a beta tester for Woopra. Please Sign up and add your site now or take this opportunity to add another.
We’re closing down this phase of beta testing of Woopra as of Sunday, September 20, 2009, as we’ve been warning everyone. By the end of the weekend, we’ll be doing a single batch approval of all sites registered at that time. This is your last chance to be one of the early testers of Woopra and have your say in how Woopra needs to evolve now.
Next week, we’ll be announcing the next phase of Woopra, and you are going to want to be a part of it. It’s very exciting, and many of you have been requesting this. We like making our members happy, so we’ve been putting in many long days and late nights to bring this exciting news to you…no peeking! You are going to have to wait.
We’ve been restricting beta testers to only two sites per person, but we’re opening the doors a little wider. You are welcome to add a few more sites to test drive Woopra, but don’t be too greedy. We’ve kept that restriction in place to allow the most number of people to help us test Woopra around the world, and have been rewarded by your incredibly generous feedback in the Woopra Forums and on @woopra.
We also want to thank everyone for being so patient with us during this phase of beta testing. This is the end of the wait times and approvals.
So tell your friends, family, and enemies that this is the last weekend to get in to test Woopra for free. You’ve got 48 hours. Go!

Alright this may be a dumb question, but does that mean beta testers that have already been approved and have already added a site, do they need to re-register completely?
Other websites for consideration (all same entity but different sites) http://www.canadamoldtestkits.com, http://www.imslaboratory.com, http://www.moldpro.org
Also http://www.netmeg.org and http://www.wheelerandwoolsey.com if I can have extras. Currently have an account with two sites in it.
Please don’t ask for site approvals in the comments. Add your site through the Woopra Members panel. We’ll be approving ALL of them this weekend and then closing the door on beta tester approvals. If your site isn’t registered, it will not be approved!
@mnortonseo: If you are already approved, please add additional sites through the Woopra Members panel. No re-registration required.
When would the approvals take place? According to the post, the the beta tester approvals should’ve closed a few hours ago, however, the homepage, I still see the sign up button. Moreover, my site is yet to be approved :) Waiting, to tryout all the great things, after reading so many good things :)

Well that’s unfortunate. Whatever we did for signing up (from inside my account) somehow appear here in the comments on this blog, and now it’s too late.
The website says beta registrations are still open as of today. I signed up but am not able to add sites. After signup, the members area says beta registration is closed for a short while. So, how do I add a site/sites before you close the the beta registrations??
I also can not add my site : http://konteudos.info
I have been trying to get authorized for woopra since Jan of this year. Now i find out after 9 months of endless emails that i had 48 hours to sign my sites up???? what in the frell did i do over 9 months ago?
Woopra might be the shiznit but right now it might as well be a nuclear powered pogostick for frogs too!
Needless to say, i would think after waiting 9 months I would not have a set of hoops to jump through in a short time window to do it from. My attitude right now is not very good, yippee i will be one of the first to get charged to run it! meantime people who found out about it on the day you opened this up again are already testing out the free version. WTF?
Not exactly very thrilled.
@Timothy Tuck: Yes, you signed up in January but did not add a site. We approve by site not member. Without a site to approve, there was nothing we could do. We now have a plan to email all those who signed up but did not follow the instructions in the confirmation email and on the site to add their website, inviting them to add one when we have the new system in place.
We’re sorry that you were so enthusiastic about testing Woopra that you didn’t follow through on this earlier or ask us. We posted announcements on the blog and on Twitter and other social media services, letting people know they had to be sure and add their site for approval. Registration was not enough. We did several huge approval batches, approving everyone registered at the time, along with random batches, which would have included you if your site was added. But do stay tuned for information on how you can still get access to a free site once we’re back up and running registrations.
Any estimation on how long until folks are able to sign up again? Thanks.
Darren
We will be opening registration very soon. Putting the final touches on and fixing a few things. Glad you’re excited for the next phase in Woopra development!
Just wondering when how the “paid” sign up will be handled – will I receive e-mail notification on how to proceed so I can be sure to get the most benefit for my sites?
We’ll be spreading the word everywhere, don’t worry. :D
Have I missed this now?
Yes. Woopra is now out of beta.
Way cool stuff, will have to try it. By teh way, down load link does not work. Can you please help? thanks
Laters
Thank you. Could you be more specific as to which download link. We’ve tested the main ones and all are working fine. Thanks.
