The First Sneak Peak at the Woopra iPhone App
I had a chance to sit down with our Woopra iPhone app lead developer Cesar Alaniz (follow him on Twitter @cesar_alaniz) today, and since we were going over the latest updates on the project we decided to create a video and share the news with everyone.
Here is your first sneak peak at the app. To answer two questions in advance:
- We do not have an ETA yet on when the app will be submitted to the iTunes store. But I’d say… maybe 60 days or so from now. :-)
- We do not have any other platform apps in development at this time (Android, Palm, etc.). Our intention is to get the iPhone app running before tackling other mobile platforms.
So, now that you’ve had a glimpse at the interface, we’re actively seeking suggestions and feedback. Feel free to give us your ideas for how to improve the user experience, and if you would like to offer assistance we are looking for graphic design concepts. Let Cesar know if you are interested in helping in that area and we’ll make sure all contributors get lots of love and attention for their efforts!
Looking great guys.
Please work on the Worldwide overview map. It would be fantastic to be able to show friends and family all the current visitors from around the world.
Yes, Cesar is planning on having a button that takes you to a live map, so that will be very cool to be able to pull out of your pocket to show people wherever you are!
Cheers,
John P.
Oo i want
It is great news, greetings from Spain
AWESOME! …now bring it to WebOS ;)
very cool app and yes I agree with Hans, bring it to webOS!!!
can’t wait!!
You have no idea how hot that app looks.
That is awesome. Cant wait to try it. I hope implement the chat feature too.
Tweeted details about an iPhone app video, that’s not viewable by iPhone users.. /partialfail!
Will it be free or does one need to buy it on the app store?
Can’t wait for that to come out !
WoW Man that looks nice!!!!!!!!! :D
I can tell you put a lot of work & thought into this App.
keep up the good work dude.
Great News for my future ipad purchase
This is a gotta have for the ipad, I would setup two or three ipads on the desk with the stats running very cool.

I hope there will be a more non-playmobile-centric view of things on the app than we now see. What i already miss from the desktop app is to get more information of the live visitors from the search side. I don’t care too much about the browser of a single user than the keyword it reached my site and actual trends (let’s say entry keywords of the last hour, 15 minutes or so). Wish this would be more configurable as i of course understand that for other browser version, screen resolution and stuff off single users would be more interesting, but unfortunately you can’t get a real good search centric view of things currently.
Need beta testers?
I second the ‘need beta testers’ sentiment – will even blog about it!

Need a beta tester in Italy?
We’ll be releasing the beta version for everyone daring to test it soon. Thanks.
Well it seems most iPhone apps used on the iPad suffer in viewing quality, just drop the iphone plans and start converting to iPad version or make it universal but I imagine the ipad platform will open up more design and use capabilities but I am standing by eagarly waiting

Slobber Slobber! Oh my god that looks amazing. I’ll beta test anything you want to. Been doing Internet marketing and analytics for over a decade.
Suggestion: Can you dial-in (“filter”) WHICH notifications you get through the iPhone, like only certain notification types trigger an iPhone pop-up?
There should be desktop notifications as well (for concurrent user thresholds).
Any idea yet when this will be available?
As soon as Apple okays it for release.
ooh cool…. it’s been submitteed to apple…
