1. missing manual - e.g. i do not know how to filter OUT people from the life screen.
2. it would be great if i could easily mark some users to not be shown
3. i miss a notification option for users, who visit at least some number of pages (for not showing to visitors with just visit and go)
4. it would be great if i could change a name and logo of the chat (paid option probably), i think it is not so good when i popus screen with different name than my own when they are on my page
5. it is not clear that the chat init window must be clicked to start conversation. It would be better e.g. if there would be dirctly the input
P.S.: it is great anyway

I have not installed the tracking code yet on the website as of yet so I am not sure if this is supposed to happen or not but after logging in all I can see on the log in box is "Connected! Loading websites..." with the loading circle spinning as if it is doing something.

I am using the Woopra desktop client version 1.1.2.2 on Windows Vista (SP1) 32bit.

Hi!

I have the same problem. Woopra is fantastic, but at the moment for my flash app I can not get any navigation details....

haven't found anything... is it not possible to use a similar technique as we use in google analytics?

Hi there,

Very excited to be part of Beta, and looking forward to giving feedback. One question; we have been approved with the site http://www.ourdomain.com but before putting the Woopra code all over, we wanted to test Woopra on http://www.ourdomainblog.com. We installed the javascript manually on the blog domain and it's not registering any visits - are we limited to the domain associated with the account? Thanks for the feedback.

Thanks ITwins...that's exactly what I do all the time. This time, though, it didn't help. I just tried it again about 1/2 hour ago and this time it worked so I assume the service was down.

Now let's see if I can make this clear...(I apologize ahead of time for any repeats I might make and the general wordiness of the whole thing).

Windows XP Pro SP3
Woopra 1.1.2.2 beta

I have two sites registered with Woopra and gathering stats in the latest build of the Woopra Wiindows client. The sites are as follows:

http://just-thinkin.net (no problems)
http://www.greenmtngeek.com (having problems)

>>Both sites are powered by WordPress (latest version, custom installs) and are using the Woopra plugin.

>>Both sites are running identical plugins but different themes. Both themes are "clean coded", WP 2.6 compatible and XHTML standards compliant.

>>Both sites have "Google Analytics" and "Pmetrics" tracking code installed manually before the "/body" entry and after the "wp_footer();" PHP call in the "footer.php file of each theme. This is the required placement for both tracking codes. The Woopra plugin places the tracking code before these other tracing codes by default. This can't be helped.

The problem exists only for the second site listed above in the "Recent visitors" list that's brought up under "Search". The first site has no problems.

When bringing up the "Recent visitors" list, the actual ID number assigned to each non-tagged visitor are the problem. The actual(?) recent visitor count for the past 30 days is currently in the 900's and seems to be incrementing but skipping several numbers in between each increment (930, 956, 989, 993,etc). Tagged visitors are properly shown in the results.

These "missing" visits all seem to be assigned the same "phantom" ID number and that "same" ID number usually ranges from in the 1000's to the 100'000's. Not only that but this same phantom ID# that is assigned to the majority of visitors changes every time I refresh the list hence calling it a "phantom" number (by hitting the "Search" button). I believe these are the "missing" visits that would fill in the missing ID#'s in the actual visitor count.

Here's a test example:

Initial phantom ID# and after each refresh: (no new visits to site)

#39250
(refresh list)
#41965
(refresh list)
#41974
(refresh list)
#41977
(refresh list)
#41980
(refresh list)
#41986

Log out of Woopra client and log back in.

List is the same, no new visitors.

Phantom number:

#18977
(refresh list)
#41990
(refresh list)
#39298
(refresh list)
#18980
(refresh list)
#41999
(refresh list)
#110745

As you can see above the number ranges all over the place.

Filtering:

When attempting to filter the "Recent visitors" list results to one of these phantom ID numbers, there are "0" results displayed. However, attempting to filter the results in the same list using any visitor ID# that's in the "actual" count (in the 900's) displays the correct results for each ID# over the last 30 days.

Let me know if there's any other info I can provide or if anyone needs screenshots of this list as shown in the Woopra client just let me know how I may provide them (I don't know if I can use standard HTML code to provide a link).

I have had the exact same problem with live.com showing up a lot, but from almost the same IP address - always starting with 65.55.109 or 65.55.110.

So I made a regular expression to keep it from loading the script on my site.

The important condition is (asp.net c#):

if (!Regex.IsMatch(Request.UserHostAddress, @"^65\.55\.(109|110)\.(\d{1,3})$"))

I've noticed my stats for July 23rd are not correct.

Here's some info for your reference:

I've time set to +5.30 -IST, so for me, it's July 24th 2.28 am at this moment.

Yesterday (July 23rd) at around 3.30am IST, I had checked my Woopra account and I had about 1600 visits for the day(July 23), so at the end of the day, it should have about +/-8600 visits.

But my account stats for July 23rd is down from 1600 to 408 visits.

I checked my other tracking service as well a my hosting account panel, both are shows 8582 - 8700 visits for July 23rd.

Can you advise, what's the error?

Approvals are handed out on a first come first serve basis to the general public during the beta testing phase. We are seeking expert beta testers and web analytics experts to help us make Woopra the best possible analytics program around - and more. We planned for 200 and now have 25,000. We're doing our best to accommodate the requests, but we're also busy learning from those 25,000 so we can make Woopra better.

Stay tuned. We are working as hard as we can to get Woopra open to the public. Thanks for your patience.
