In the "My Visitors" box on the Dashboard, the Swedish visitors seem to be missing completely. Since it is a Swedish site, Sweden should have a lot of visitors, but it shows as Zero.

In the live data, all visitors show up correctly as Swedish.

I also have a large amount of visitors from the Netherlands, which seems a bit odd.

Hi, please bear my English.
I logged on today to my Woopra software, after a week away, and found a weird surprise: all the last days visitors stats show BIG discrepancies.

I have three analytics tools on my website, two of them report that yesterday I had 2200 visitors, but woopra reports only 300.

That is the day with most different reports. But almost all days report less visitors than the the other two stats: Google Analytics and Clicky.
And I know yesterday I had 2500+ visitors lookingo trough my Adsense stats, and no 300.
Why is this happening? I didn't touch the code, and Woopra was working just fine days ago.

Thanks in advance, I hope I made sense :)

I'm using Woopra on Wordpress 2.6.2, with the Woopra plugin v 1.3.6.

When tracking live visitors on my site via the Woopra 'Live' interface, the listing of pages hit/accessed under each visitor is doubled. It consistently shows two entries for the same page and counts it as two page views.

The two views either have the same timecode or are separated by about a second or slightly more (sometimes its as much as three seconds).

I was thinking I am using both the Woopra plugin and that when I set things up, I put in the tracking code, too, and that may be the reason. But I have looked for the code and can't find it, so I don't think that's it.

Here is a screen capture:

http://insiderescortsecrets.com/screen/capture.jpg

Any thoughts?

I've gotta say it again: I love this program!!

I am finally getting my pop-up notifications, YEAH!

Now I checkmarked the option for starting Woopra at Windows start-up but it does not do so. Can this be fixed?

Also a suggestion:
I have the code on a few pages, but I can only see how many page views there were in total. Is there any way to see which visitor went to which page?

Thanks!

Since yesterday's (last night's?) server maintenance I don't seem to be getting tracking data. I can certainly see live when someone's on my site, but Today Visits/Today Page Views, Overview, Content and all of today under Analytics is blank.

In a nutshell, I can only see who is currently on my site. No history.

folks,

seems to me, that the browser- and plattform-detection does not work correctly. My stats show 1 visitor with plattform »Apple Mobile« (which probably means iPhone) but no entry for Safari (neither mobile or standard version) but only entries for Firefox 2 and 3 and IE 6 and 7. As well: all other plattform entries claim to be Wndows (XP and Vista), where as the whole content and all searches for my site are Mac OS centered.

The Start Talking is a neat Feature. Also I tried to search the forum first, but the search on the website seems down, maybe because you all are working on it. Anyway When me and a buddy tried testing the chat Feature (I'm in NC and he is in Indiana if that helps), we got the chat working nice in IE 7 and FireFox 3, but Google Chrome would show him the initial text then stop communicating when he clicked it.

I am wondering if it is PopUp related, as I also notice with any browser if the user has a Pop up on, and they click, there is no option to recover from a blocked Pop Up. The popup blocker just ends the communication.

It would be nice if there was a second chance to talk after they realize there is a PopUp Chat.

From my perspective, I cannot tell if they actually ended the chat or if it was a Pop Up?

Has anyone else noticed issues with Google Chrome?

By the way I am new to Woopra, and really like it. I posed in General Discussion before reporting this as a bug. I also tried to search the forum, but like I mentioned the website forum Search is not working for me, so I do not know if you are aware of a Problem with no way to recover if a PopUp blocks a user (no second chance once the PopUp ends the communicatiob), or issues with Google Chrome not working with chat. --Thanks, Joe (ncfusion)

For the past few days, my Woopra has been having some pretty serious issues. On Saturday, it's total visits and page view counts were off by about 1200 users. Sunday wasn't quite as bad, being off by only about 200 but today we're already down 100 users (versus other js based logging systems) before 10am.

Also, on the Dashboard, I have absolutely 0 users showing on the map as coming from the USA when a good 80% of my traffic should be from there. On the live page, user's locations are correctly listed as in the US.

Woopra is having some very serious issues and from other forum posts, it doesn't appear to be isolated. If you are currently experiencing similar issues, please post here so we can get some kind of indication of how widespread this may be.

I understand woopra is in beta, so this is my beta feedback.

Sorry for re-posting here, I posted the following issue on the wrong thread before.

Hi
I am getting a 404 on this file:

/wp-content/plugins/woopra/lang/en.js

each time I do some action in admin, like saving a post or saving some preferences.

wp version 2.6.2 and woopra plugin version: 1.3.4
the blog is in English,

I am not sure where the request for that file is coming from, but i am not surprise for the 404 since the lang directory is not present in the woopra plug-in directory.

Hello!

I'm having a weird issue over the past week (or two).

My Visits and Hits for example show a normal(average) number, but when I look over at the pages lists in "My Content" the numbers are not reflecting at all.

For example, Say my visits for today only show 100, and my hits show 200. In my content there are only a very few pages lists - 11 total pages. And of those pages the top one has "4" hits and the rest have 1. Not sure how that = 100/200?

Not only that but when I go and view my "live" visitors - of the 5 that are on - they are all on pages that aren't even listed in "My Content".

Another example is on Monday I had 2,000 visitors, but in "My Content" the page that had the most hits had only 24. When I know for a fact this wasn't right because the page that had the most hits had well over 1600 via Stumble Upon. (Double checked in Google Analytics).

Is this a bug and how to fix?

I'm not sure if this is a bug or what, but I have periodic instances when a reported visit is duplicated. There are some that are not duplicates (Visitor #2238 comes at 8:41 and stays for 5 minutes and then Visitor #2238 comes back at 8:55 and stays for 2 minutes), but I've got some that must be duplicates such as (Visitor #2267 came at 1:43PM and stayed 4:11, then the next line says Visitor #2267 came at 1:43PM and stayed 4:11) that must be a duplication error.

Hey guys, I'm gonna pull the plug on Woopra. It just doesn't work. Looks pretty, but that's about it. I just checked on a complete navigation circuit of one of my sites that has .php pages, .html pages, downloads, etc., and tracked my usage on the "Live" panel. This showed (most of, not all) my hits.

Then when I looked at the "Search" panel, did I see the same pageviews? NO! Only a fraction, and some weren't even the pages I hit! Woopra is a nice idea, but it needs a TREMENDOUS amount of work before it can seriously be considered for a site analytics app.

Too bad.

First of all - I really love Woopra and the idea of it, but things just ain't working like it should be. Something has been defect since day one of the beta-period.

Here are some things I wonder if it ever will be better:

1. Pages - when i want to see the stats over pages visited in the "live"-tab I only see the last page visited in the list.

2. Analytics - same here, the stats doesn't show the pages visited: http://content.screencast.com/users/Raakanin/folders/Jing/media/92b8f34a-6fb8-4265-aaf5-ef6ff8ef156d/00000083.png

3. Dashboard overview - hourly: It just doesn't add up, if I add all the visitors the hourly stats is showing me I should be really happy with the traffic on my site. When the daily stats is showing 596 visitors this is what my hourly stats is showing (PIC):

http://screencast.com/t/uTcXmmwTz

4. Referrers - nope, doesn't add up, not at all actually.

5. etc, etc, etc...

For me it seems like it has just gone from bad to worse, so when will it be fixed?

I know you (the developers) are working 24/7, but is this something you are working on, and if so - how long?

If the Woopra client loses connection to the internet (either cause I have satellite ISP or I put my Mac to sleep) the next time it reconnects I get multiple notifications for each "visit". If I don't close and reopen Woopra the number of notifications will continue to multiply.

Any ideas?

I happened to be watching Woopra last night as the clock struck midnight and saw Woopra continue to count live hits to the site as part of the same day rather than start a new day. Woopra was otherwise reporting the time accurately but was clearly not aware of the date.

This strange behavior continued for at least a 1/2 hour.

Interestingly enough, I checked the stats for yesterday and they were closer in sync with Statcounter than in previous days. (I've reported significant differences in counts between Statcounter and Woopra as part of a separate thread).

Was this the system catching up?

Perplexed.

Hi...
Please take this as constructive criticism, nothing more. You guys have done an incredible job with Woopra. I love it!

Yesterday morning, I added a message to the forum describing how when I search for tagged visitors, I come up with none even though the search for recent visitors shows recent tagged visitors.

No one answered my message, so either the problem is mine and mine alone or other people don't know about this problem or care about it.

My problem is this: someone from Woopra should at least acknowledge each and every message so that the person leaving the message gets the feeling that you guys care. Since this is your only means of communication with the "masses", (no email support!) it is important for you to make the person who left the message know that you have seen the message. Without a doubt, I will be purchasing a subscription to Woopra once you guys get the bugs out and start charging for the service...but I have to know that you are there listening to me!

Thank you and keep up the good work!

Hi,

I inserted the JS snippet into a JS file (footer.js). Here is the snippets

//Woopra
var woopra_id = 'XXXXX';
document.write(unescape("%3Cscript src='http://static.woopra.com/js/woopra.js...

Strangely this piece of code doesn't work. I don't get any visit. Is there any other solution?

I am talking about the Woopra Analytics as plugin within wordpress.

Whenever I click on the number in the coloumn hits I see a beautiful graph, but it indicates the WRONG month!
For instance if I select as date range from september 1st to september 14th the graph shows me from AUGUST 1ST TO AUGUST 14TH !

Please squash this bug!

Many thanks for this optimal tool!
