I installed the code that I got to the footer of my forum and I installed the live tracking but it is not tracking anything.

I am using a free forum host and I was wondering if there is a certain way I have to install it onto my forum.

I just thought I'd mention this about the directions for the Wordpress plugin, because I was confused about it at first and maybe other people would be too.

The instructions say:

2. Unzip it and upload woopra.php to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.

I thought this was odd, but I tried to do what the instructions said and just uploaded the woopra.php file into the plugins directory. But of course what you have to do is upload the entire woopra folder into the directory.

Clearing this up might save some confusion for someone else later.

Thanks for listening.

Will the next website I add take the same amount of time? Why?

I built my site with a program that exports the data to html then uploads via http://FTP. I don't have a way to view/edit the source code to do a manual install. How can I install the script? I'm using a straight WYSIWYG editor (I don't do html yet). When I view my source code online, there's nothing that says "footer".

Hi. I'll try to be as concise as possible.

I have the Woopra plugin for WordPress (1.3.4) and 2.6.2 of WP. I installed the code in the footer.php as instructed.

I have the client installed on my Mac (OS 10.5.5).

According to Counterize, I have had 18 unique hits today, 42 total. Woopra Dashboard says I have none (nor does it have any data, just says no results). The client says I have had 7 hits and 40 page views.

I had the client up and went to my blog on a different computer and I came up on the client. Did this a couple of times today, yet the client (in analytics tab) says no data all across the board. Furthermore, when I went to my blog on the seperate computer, it logged 2 page views for each page I clicked on.

Now, here's my main question. I have the blog installed at http://www.lockspur.com/wordpress but have set it up (using WP's directions) to have http://www.lockspur.com take people right to the blog. Is this considered a subdomain?

Here's my stats:

    * Woopra version - 1.3.4

    * Operating system - server, dunno. Client, Mac OS X 10.5.5

    * Is the issue with your website, the website membership statistics, or desktop client (software) on your computer? Little of all three.

    * Are you using the WordPress Plugin, another plugin or add-on, or the manually added JavaScript on your site? Wordpress.

    * Is this a WordPress, Moveable Type, TypePad, Blogger, or other static or dynamic website? I'm not sure I understand.

    * If you have made alterations in the JavaScript, please let us know as they may be part of the problem and solution. I put the code, in it's entirety, below the php you mentioned on the install page.

I know this is sort of a laundry list, and I'm sorry, but I somehow feel they're all related. And for what it's worth, so far, Woopra is awesome. This is going to be a fine piece of kit once it's all said and done. Job well done folks. :)

I am using wordpress 2.6.1 and installed the woopra 1.3.1 plugin. It installs fine and I have configured it with my website id.

For some reason, no tracking information is being recorded. I made sure I have Javascript enabled and verified the plugin is adding the javascript at the bottom of each page.

I configured the plugin to track my visits, but ignore admin page visits.

The only caveat I can figure that might be causing a problem is that i have a cache plugin for Wordpress. I have cleared it, however, and the javascript is being delivered, just not tracked in Woopra.

Hi,

could you please update your plugin and use some other get variable than 'key' to transport your api key. This leads to collidation with several other plugins as the variable is kind of "gerneral". For example the subscription manager of the famous 'subscribe to comments' plugin doesn't work. I also informed the author of that plugin to use some more individual variable.

I have 2 websites that are monitored by Woopra, and on both I have the "Woopra WordPress Plugin" installed, with its correct website ID.

A few momments ago I open my Woopra client and saw that only one of the websites was loaded. When I signed in on my Woopra Account, I saw that the field "API Key" shows a "null" value, for that website that is not being loaded on Woopra client.

I've been looking at my stats recently, and realized they have all been very low (and seem to not contain me at all). I looked at the source of the website, and it seems to contain the script tag and everything else you need to manually install it anyway. (In fact, I compared it to the code used on this site and they match exactly except for the website id)
Today I left Woopra open in the background on the live view, and started browsing around my site. None of my page views showed up. Then, as I was browsing around, a single page seemed to register in woopra. The circle appeared. I clicked onto a different page, and the circle disappeared. Even returning back to that page that the circle appeared on didn't work.

What is going on?

It took me a few hours of tinkering to figure this out. When I activate the plugin and put in my information in the Website ID field, upon saving the changes it shows a different number in the field.

It was doing this on two separate installations. I used the manual method and got stats tracking on one of the sites (http://onemorerobot.com). However, I haven't gotten stats working on the other site yet (http://interi.org).

Here is a thought on the matter, in both of these cases I added a website to Woopra without an invitation code. I deleted them and then added them again with the codes I had. That is the only thing I have to go on as to why I am getting the Website ID replacement.

Also, I am running a Drupal site using the module linked to from this site and it worked fine right off the bat.

The number the Website ID is defaulting to is 2147483647.

Wordpress tells me I cannot add a plugin. They deny access to the Plugins directory as well. It appears I am doing something wrong, or Woopra won't work with Wordpress.

Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Bill

Should the dashboard not update automatically?

Or is there a manual way of updating the dashboard data?

Currently it only updates if I restart the Woopra desktop.

Thanks for any advice...
