Seems that since my last upgrade I lost referrers (and does not seem to be updating) on one site. And the other has the same old referrers but still not adding new.

Also lost my custom events alerts on upgrade.

And finally the view stats page on the website never shows anything anymore.

The timeline at the top of the woopra client rarely updates without logging out and back in.

Anyone else have similar behavior?

This is more a feature request than a support request.

Would it be possible to include RPM/DEB packages for Woopra? This way users can keep track of the software from 'yum' or 'apt-get'. Maybe create a tar.gz file with the binaries so other users can help create and maintain Woopra in their repositories. This way users can add woopra easily to their systems with a simple 'yum install woopra' command or 'apt-get install woopra'.

Just a suggestion

I just want to extend my thanks to the Woopra team for supporting (or at least providing) a Linux version of your software. It's so rare that companies provide software for Linux and I just wanted to say thanks.

I do have one way you can help make Woopra more "Linux-y". Most Linux commands are lowercase and Linux users have grown accustom to typing is lowercase to <TAB> to their programs on the command line. My suggestion is to rename the executable from 'Woopra' to 'woopra'.

So once again thanks!

I upgraded to the latest RC posted on the blog. For one the interface looks outstanding.

The only problem I have so far is that the systray icon does not show in this version. If I close the desktop application it is not actually exited as expected, but no way to reopen without restarting the app.

I am running KDE under Gentoo 2008

Is anyone experiencing extremely sluggish performance from the Woopra client for Linux? Anytime I start it up it is constanty using around 60% of my processor resources the entire time it is open. As a result, any time I click anything in the client it is really slow to respond. It is pretty much unusable. I am running Ubuntu Hardy Heron 8.04, and using the latest version of Java - 1.6.0_06. Anyone else experiencing this?

Hello there.

Is anybody running the Linux version of Woopra? I tried on my Kubuntu laptop, and it didn't work. I know that "it does not work" means nothing to you without error messages, detailed configuration, Java version, etc., but I just wondered if anybody got it running, and whether she found any pitfalls, issues, anything! My laptop is not my main machine, but it'd be nice to run Woopra there!.

A Linux installation guide would be quite nice, too ;-)

Putting the version #'s and dates on the download page would be useful as well.
