I never had this problem before, although my boss does with her account. Today, I have the problem. At the login screen it sits there with the "Connecting to Woopra..." just spinning but never logging in.

Same for me. My sites flash briefly in the left pane and then right back to the login screen.

I'm using Joomla and the rokwoopra plugin. They appear to be installed correctly.

I really like the detailed referring URLs that Woopra shows when you click on the ">" next to the referring site, but when I do a download I don't get the details.

Does anyone know a way around it?

I seldom if ever see referrer information in the Live view. In Analytics the only Referrer tabs that work well are "Search Engines" and "Regular Domains" and even these are spotty.

I have to agree. If you have to wait that long, tell it to the users. Regardless if you would lose members, that's woopra's fault. In those 1 month that you would wait for approval(s), you already found another stats website and already began tracking your website and have information of your website of already a month. I don't find this worth it to wait a long time. Sorry Woopra, though this looks awesome. The approval system that is being accepted manually is a big no no. Luring people like this is really bad.

@RDWilson who says "One month to the day and still waiting. Not complaining, just letting everyone know about what to expect in terms of wait time.

Thanks guys for offering this free service!"

I've never seen anyone so happy about getting absolutely nothing for free!

I understand the reasons for the delay, Woopra chaps, but a note on the download page wouldn't have hurt.

Currently Woopra installs its data into ~HOME/Woopra/... , with no preferences setting to move that directory. If I move that directory or replace it with an alias, Woopra doesn't read its data.

Please add a plist or prefs option to move that directory or follow the Mac convention of creating the data folder in ~HOME/Library/Application Support/APPLICATION_NAME.

This isnt a god given right that you are entitled to test this. You can look back months and months and the same issues were prevelant then as now. Long wait times. I waited months and so did alot of other people.

If you don't like it go use another program. You signed up just like me, you were excited about the prospect of what this had to offer and that it was free to test. You havent paid a dime. If you had then you can complain about slow approval times.

Since no admin personell have posted responses would indicate that approving your site isnt a top priority to them. Their are a jillion of us already testing this and helping work out the kinks. It is going to be a fantastic tool for us all to use when it hits the streets. Be patient it will come.

No desire? We've over 25,000 beta testers! We appreciate your enthusiasm and will be opening up more approvals soon. Few programs get this many beta testers to break their products, so we're really excited, but it's a lot of work to keep up with all the reports for fixes and feature improvements.

Thank you for your patient and enthusiasm. Woopra will be open to all soon and the approvals will stop. Stay tuned.

same here. more than a month. Beta has been more then tested given the time required. They even said information about wait times would be posted in the blog, and not a single word.

If this is how they conduct business, forget it, when they arrive out of beta it will not change, it will be just as it is. It gives you an insight on how support responds and how issues are handled. And it's not worth the time or the money given their present lack of information.

This is retarded. If you're going to make people wait this long at least post something a little more instructive in the FAQ. I wouldn't have bothered downloading and installing the app or signing up for an account with Woopra had I known this. I'd just have waited until it was out of beta.
