What a superb application - I'm now able to understand exactly what my site is being used for and how -- anyway..

My site is kinda busy with 20k uniques a day with a shed load of page views (probably 50k a day page views)

I didn't know this when I setup woopra so I'm pretty sure my site is capped now at 10k page views then it stops being measured in Woopra.

Is there a way to increase this limit.

Thanks :)

I got it working as this:

<script type="text/javascript">

var gaJsHost = (("https:" == document.location.protocol) ? "https://ssl." : "http://www.");

document.write(unescape("%3Cscript src='" + gaJsHost + "google-analytics.com/ga.js' type='text/javascript'%3E%3C/script%3E"));

</script>

<script type="text/javascript">

var pageTracker = _gat._getTracker("UA-5437895-1");

pageTracker._trackPageview();

</script>

<?php wp_footer(); ?>
</body>

Lets just hope that doesn't break GA now :\

WP plugin installation instructions also say this:

IMPORTANT NOTE: In order for the WordPress Plugin to work, your WordPress theme must have the following code immediately before the element in the footer.php file:

But they fail to mention which element is it... I guess it means </body>.

I have Google Analytics installed on my WP site, and I just received an approval for Woopra beta. I installed the plugin, but it's failing to work, and I don't see the woopra code appended to my pages.

Both Woopra and GA want their script code to be the last thing before
</body>
. Isn't there a conflict in this case then?

Thanks Lorelle,
I see that the analytics page is now "under construction." Even taking the little bit of effort to add that notice makes me feel better. BTW, I think you are right to prioritize the client app and the Wordpress plugin. I really want to see the wp plugin start to work so I can share the beauty of it with others!

As much as we would love to increase the limits for everyone who asks - and a LOT of people are asking - we are restricting increasing the numbers right now. It won't be for much longer. Thanks for your patience.

OK fine, it is not important. Then remove it. Having a broken analytics page on the woopra website looks pretty bad IMHO. Also, the error messages I see there and the errors I see in the wordpress plugin are similar so it makes me think that something in the backend may be broken!

Or maybe it works for most people and just not us???

I installed Woopra on Saturday, 9/6. It worked fine until today. Now I can't get it to open at all. I thought maybe the site was down (after all, it is beta), but in reading the blog and forum I don't see anything about down time. Why would it suddenly stop working?

We have bumped into our limits for daily pageviews two days in a row now.

Can anyone confirm that this page actually works for them?

Under members area in the Woopra website click on the analytics tab. Does ANYONE see any stats there? I have never seen this work for either of my sites. In this support forum I see two threads below this one full of people complaining that it doesn't work. I don't see any progress or comments from woopra on this.

I also still can't get the wordpress plugin to work but that is a separate issue (I assume?)

Despite all this the desktop client works well for me! What's up with the woopra website? Why can't it be fixed?

We used to put our announcements on Woopra-related news in that category and now we use the Woopra News post category. Thanks for reminding me to change them. We're so busy resolving code problems and working on new features, we get forgetful about little details like this. Thanks.
