Hope this helps others. On Windows XP, after pressing the Login button, Woopra was getting stuck on "Connecting to Woopra", and never successfully connecting. Here's how I fixed it:

1) Close Woopra.
2) Open the Windows Task Manager (Ctrl-Shift-Esc).
3) Under the Processes tab, search for any leftover Woopra.exe instances (sort by Image Name).
4) Terminate them.
5) Reopen Woopra.

Looks like a leftover process is getting stuck sometimes.

Hope this helps others.

I have created a Custom Map in the Woopra program. But in the custom map it doesn't show any visitors, and the custom map doesn't display on all the other maps in the program for that site. How can I get the custom map to display for all the maps in the Woopra program?

About a month and a bit ago, it looks like the techies update servers because my hit count restarted (it was a saturday). Anyways, at the same time, Woopra started measuring time out of sync with my computer which messed up my graphing at the top of the Woopra display. I have restarted Woopra a number of times, and restarted my computer. Makes no difference. Any ideas?

mickfrancis,

Over the last few days we had a few accounts that were getting numbers under-reported because we apparently overloaded one of the servers. We've rebalanced the load now, and we're working on adding more capacity so we don't make the same mistake in the future.

Can you give your stats another look and let us know if it's lining up correctly today or tomorrow?

I am trying to use Woopra from behind a Microsoft ISA firewall/proxy. If I enter the details of the proxy into Options then Woopra will sign-in, but it will not connect when I click on the "connect" button for a particular site.

The ISA proxy requires authentication, so is this the problem?

Using the 1.2 Windows download and Woopra WP plugin 1.3.4:

1) When I run the client, Woopra is rarely able to connect to my sites right away, sitting in 'Connecting' mode for some time, and then usually timing out. In fact, most of the time that I have Woopra running, it's in Connecting mode.

2) I've yet to see Woopra stay logged in for more than 5 minutes. Usually it lasts less than a minute or two.

Both these issues smack of bandwidth problems. It seems to me that Woopra is ultra-sensitive to network connections, much more than anything else that I'm using like FileZilla or Snoop, the live gadget for Reinvigorate. It would nice to see if there was a way to lower this sensitivity.

What's the point of having notification alerts if I can't let Woopra run all the time?
