My first feedback:

Woopra is very nice and works fine on my really old iBook G4 (PPC) running Mac OS X (Leopard - 10.5.4) with Java 1.5. I have no problem even if I wonder why I can't switch to fullscreen? I'm in 1024x768 and fullscreen would be better.

Thanks for all and thank you too Elie. :)

Works with Java 1.5? You're the best!
I'm on Mac/PPC and couldn't run Woopra before...

But, wait! My website is always pending approval. :(

I'm confused.. The original post says this is "much better than 1.1.2.2".. However, when I download the linux version, the install program has "1.1.2.2" in the titlebar, and, once installed, the program reports that it is at 1.1.2.2.

In addition, I am unable to connect. When I try to log in, it says "Connecting to Woopra", then "Connected, loading websites", then "You have been disconnected." I have been unable to log on for a couple days now.

I thought someone else posted this, but can't find it now...so I'll post the issue again.

First - the new version is quite grand! Well done.

Now - the SYSTEM TRAY ICON doesn't exist in the Windows version. Once I shut the app down, to truly close it, I have to go to windows task manager and kill the process.

Can we bring that friendly little system tray icon back?

Thanks!

I love the new version. It looks great. I have woopra on 18 sites. The old version would list all the sites in the tabs at the top. Now it only shows 9 sites in the tabs. If would be nice if it listed all the sites in multiple rows.

The new tabs on the left do list all the sites, but when I click on one and look at that sites info, it would be nice if it stated at the top of stats page what site I was looking at.

Minor things for sure, compared to how nice everything else is.

Keep up the great work.

Hi Lorelle...

Thanks for your response regarding Avatars. We're planning on using Woopra for business purposes and avatars are totally unnecessary and take up useful space on the screen. Again, give us a choice...make it an option to see that avatars.

@medalia: Avatars/Gravatars are now very common and increasing in usage on websites and blogs. WordPress now has Gravatars and identicons (a random avatar generator) built into their latest versions. While these tend to be forum and blog specific, they are everywhere. So inclusion within Woopra is natural.

The avatar is often a picture or image that represents the person or their blog. As part of the socialization of the web, this brand identity is really important.

I don't think any web analytics program except Woopra includes avatars in their stats. But then, Woopra does a lot of things other stats programs don't. :D

Quite honestly, I have NEVER had a visitor with an avatar. Takes up a lot of space and I recommend that it should be an option whether it shows or not.

I have 2 sites being tracked by woopra. They both connect when I login, but the second quickly changes status to "Disconnected".
Anyone else seeing anything like this? Logging out/back in just gives me the same problem.
