Absolutely!!! I am not a Beta tester yet, but find this feature a must have feature. If we can see what Keyword Search criteria is being used by a visitor on Search Engines to find our Websites, we can tell if we are targeting Keywords for SEO correctly to get better hits.

Woopra needs to make this a "Must Add" feature.

TraceMyIP does this very well and is a tool I am currently testing. Very helpful feature for website Search Engine Optimization.

Thanks,

Agree with above.

Suggestion: Create a Woopra "badge" that can be placed anywhere on the web site, then have that badge be where the message from the Woopra user gets displayed. Perhaps the badge should flash when the webmaster wants to chat. That would make it appear less like spam or a virus and more like something legit.

In the custom event creation wizard, there is an option to specify "visitor clicks on an external link" field. It would be great if there were also support for onClick events. This is one way that clicks can be tracked within Google Analytics - by embedding something like the following into generated (or manually created) links(onClick="java$cript:className('argument');className('argument');")

If we had access to a Woopra class that registered this 'argument', we could set up tracking of goals/funnels/conversion for our sites.

This could be used either for tracking internal navigation (funnel) or external links (goals/conversion).

It would be cool to see page navigation FROM the landing pages on a site, by expanding the entries in the analytics view, to show "next level" navigation analysis in the same way that the "directories" sub-tab breaks things out.

From the landing page, you could show percentage exiting versus percentage staying around. The exits could be broken down into individual outgoing links and "timed out". The "next page" stuff could either be just the immediately next page, or go two levels (or N levels) deep. I would personally prioritize the "next page" feature first.

The analytics tab currently shows the most popular pages on a site, which is cool. When you expand the line for the page (clicking on the chart element), you see a history of visits to that page versus time.

It would be very useful to see how people got to that page. You could show direct (landing on the page) and indirect (browsing from within the site) breakout percentages. Within direct, you could further breakout the source (search, backlink, etc), and break out the backlink into specific references. Within indirect, you could show the source pages (maybe directly, maybe sorted by directory).

This would be like the by-directory breakout, in terms of visualization.

I like the keyword cloud. I would love to have key phrases as well. That's one thing 103bees does well. For example, I have "diagram" as one of my keywords, as well as "bpmn" and "class." Which is the more active for me - "bpmn diagram" or "class diagram?" Would love to know.

Also, I have "use" and "case", where I know that "use case" in a couple different contexts drives a lot of traffic to my site. I'd love to have that contextual information. The 'queries' subtab in the dashboard helps a little, but not much.

Ultimately, I think there is very valuable SEO/SEM data to be gleaned from deeper analysis of keywords and search queries. I hope you'll consider adding an SEO/SEM tab (as a peer to Visitors/Systems/etc), with detailed tabs beneath it.

Would also be great to know, for a given keyword phrase (or keyword), which search engines are sending traffic on it. Or which keyword phrases are more effective with a given search engine. Or GEO distribution of keywords/keyword phrases.

Thanks to all of you - LOVE Woopra!

The domain info (on dashboard) and detailed page info (on analytics:referrers:webpages) works great. Good combination of summary and detailed info.

On the detailed info, it would be cool to roll up the webpage referrals by domain (eg: 20 hits from "site X" explodes into the three different pages that sent the visitors).

Right now, expanding a "referring page" link shows a graph of timing. It would be nice if that expansion could also allow people to view landing page, or geo (where are readers at "site X"?).

Also - google.com/reader/view data should probably show up under 'feed readers' instead of under 'web pages'.

Thanks again, LOVE the product

This is also needed in the Search section. I can see the request came from the United States, the City Region is Middletown. There are many towns/cities caled Middletown across the US, and without the aid of a placement on a map, you have no way of knowing.

Maybe it should be a 3 way break down:
Country > State/Region > City

I can see how this would be very useful for ecommerce sites who are targeting specific states/regions, so they could use the granularity to be able to list them all by state.

Maybe add a "View Search Results on Map view" would also be handy here, so you can visualize your own sort of cluster maps based on your search criteria.

After trying out the user chat feature with my girlfriend yesterday, she brought up a really good point. I did not tell her that I was going to initiate the chat request with her, however when the chat notification came up, she promptly ignored it and closed it.

When I asked her why she did that, and let her know it was me, she pointed out that it looked like a popup / spam. Especially since its a generic message saying something like "The Webmaster wants to chat with you." In this day and age, people are certainly going to react as my girlfriend did and ignore that notification.

My suggestion would to make this message more personal to the specific site. Something simple like changing the "Webmaster" portion to the actual site's name. Or even better, pulling the image used for the notification from the server allowing users to create a custom graphic.

Just a suggestion.
