Same, waiting to test. And still can't understand the reason you've introduced this approval process. Every testing should exprience high load to prevent such problems in future. You will not be an exclusion from this rule, so you'd better remove approval process and let people crash-test your system.

@sambeckett,

Woopra beta only works for sites with less than 10,000 visits a day(as stated on the site) which is why it may have stopped working although I thought it was supposed to just drop the older data at that point.

Anyway, two sites pending approval but since Woopra is still very young and is only in beta release right now, I'm fine with waiting, no problem. I'd rather wait until you Woopra folks have the hardware/software in place that can handle an increased amount of users and even more above than taking on more sites than you can realistically handle.

I remember the "Pmetrics" fiasco when they first came out. Over a half a year of outages and downtime because they released way too soon and found out after the fact that their systems could not handle anywhere near the sites they had approved for use. Absolutely unacceptable on "Performancing.com's part so take your time and get it right, yes?

Hi John P,

Thank you for a great product, I cant wait to start using it on our website.

I like the open mentality, and your great replies on the forum.

I understand from your blog that there has just been one major approval round (2 June). That is great news. I am sad that I just missed it.

How many was approved? And how many is still in the queue for approval? I hope you will be able to answer this, as it may give us hope to when we may be approved.

Thank you

hi
i can understand that it is a tough job to look at so many thing all togather but if approval took this much time then most pplz will be put off and may not reterun to you.
i think i applied almost 4 weeks ago and site is not approved. infact i forgot totally that there is some thing called woopra and i signed up for that. but today i was uninstalling some softwares from my system and found that i have installed woopra that reminded me and i found that i am still not approved.
i have not uninstalled woopra so that some other day it can remind me to look again that i am approved or not. but i beleave most pplz will not do same.

i think you should look at approvals asap

Thinking about this extreme long time to wait to be approved would turn people away and never return.
I reckon you should change the way and timeload to approve submissions.
You will find that you will gain alot more business for when you do eventually start charging for mored featured reports.

I reckon instead of having this approval service that takes 2-4 weeks or maybe longer. Why don't you start charging for the service and then approve straight away from user adding the code to verify that this code is actually embeded on their website.
I don't want to have to wait a month or more to use this excellent facility.

From your FAQ: "It won’t get your site approved any faster by complaining." This may be true...but it might convince you that the registration and setup procedure you have applied is misleading and unethical. I've got no problem waiting. I've got a problem with the deception. Don't have me install something with the expectation that I'll be using it within moments - ESPECIALLY if it is as good as this looks. Don't tell me "approval pending" and let me check my mail every 5 minutes all day long until I am so fed up that I do a search and find that the entire webmaster world is ticked of with you guys.

Be up front about it all, and then you can sleep easy that its just the dumb jerks that are complaining. Because the way it stands now anyone who is complaining is absolutely justified in doing so and if you ARE sleeping easy, then you might think twice about who the dumb jerks are in this equation.

Open-Source it. Then everyone can worry about legal-, money-, serverissues themselves. I would love to be able to install this on my debian box, then allowing my friends to use my server. You could even have it closed-source, and let the server binaries be given to us. I think this is the best solution. Then you won't have to worry about all those difficult things.
