I cannot get it to work both ways. I chatted with a visitor (we both have Macs, and both use Firefox 2). I typed out a few sentences in Japanese and sent them over to her. She replied by telling me that it came out as a string of question marks. But if SHE typed in Japanese, it came through to me ok. (I can see both my input and her input in Japanese. She sees my input as question marks, but her own input as Japanese.) Curious. (I've never tried the chat in Japanese, for the record. Will do soon, though.) The titles of posts in my blog archives show up properly in Japanese in the Woopra Dashboard, although the corresponding URLs are a mangled stream of alphanumerics. If displaying Japanese is possible in some places, why isn't it possible in all places?
