Folks, there was an errant "." in a DNS entry that was causing some people problems, but that was fixed 6-7 hours ago, so the download issues should be resolved for everyone.

The only thing that I can think of which would still be causing problems would be if someone was using a DNS server that was not updating frequently enough. DNS servers should be set to refresh every hour or so, but if you've got one that is caching for 24 hours or something you might need to change DNS to make your life generally better. :-)

I recommend the free OpenDNS (http://opendns.com/) by the way.

John

Ahh...thanks for that phoenixguy. I was able to d/l (removed "static" from the URL) and install, but got an error while running. I'll remove, and reinstall as admin.

EDIT/UPDATE: Okay; installed as Admin. Run as Admin. Following info in a popup is displayed:

Woopra was not able to launch the update installer.

Open Woopra as Root/Administrator or download the new version from:
http://www.woopra.com/members/download.jsp

I get a 404 error when I go to that URL.

Folks,

Apparently the download server went down a little over half an hour ago, but I can't fix it, and everyone else is asleep.

Sorry about that! The joys of Beta testing! ;-) Give us a few hours and when one of the actual techie guys wakes up they will kick start things again.
