I have the same issue and running my business from home I find that I too only shut the PC down at night.

So both events and tagged visitors get erased in my case.

I may have an update on this. I was fiddling with the client last night, and when my local time (Japan Standard Time GMT +9) rolled over on my system from 11:59:59 to 12:00:00 midnight, my events evaporated. Poof. The curious thing is that the notification history was left intact... What gives? I've recreated the events, and will see if they survive the night again. (This is different from my above post, because I'd not tried closing the client and opening it on the same day before. I usually open it once and leave it running all day, hence the mistake.)

I'm a new user, but I think this problem isn't my fault. I read elsewhere on these forums that events are synced to the Woopra servers, so that they're always accessible. I'm only using Woopra on my home machine (iMac 24 inch), but my event notifications keep disappearing into thin air! Where do they go? Why don't they stick around? I keep having to create the same events over and over... Do I need to force a save or something? Thanks!
