update: as of this morning, logged into the Woopra client with no problem but both sites (my work site, and my personal site which I shared with my work's login) are blank - zeros for everything.

The online version of the stats shows 380 visits Monday, 0 Tuesday, and 6 today.

As I typed this, apparently the local Woopra client was able to retrieve some numbers. it now shows:
Today so far 219 visits 1518 pageviews
Yesterday 0 visits and 2771 pageviews

When it was working, I'd log in and find very rich information in the dashboard, with Referrers, Searches, Countries -- but now those areas are nearly empty. Also, the graph at the top is flatlined.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the specifics. They are exactly what we need to track this down. And interesting on the page load slow down. That is the opposite of what our testing has found. Hmmm. Lots of inconsistencies, but you've helped us a ton. Thank you so much. You've made our job easier!

(per Admin request) Specifically: I am using a manual implementation of the Woopra code which resides in a common "footer" include on our site. The Woopra client is running locally on Vista Ultimate SP1.

On the Woopra client app, everything before yesterday is gone. On the online version, the visits numbers seem intact going back 1 month, but the pageviews are all 0.

The Woopra client app does not always load, sometimes shutting it down and restarting it helps, sometimes not. The performance started seriously to degrade about a week and a half ago, prior to that it worked fine except as noted below. Yesterday, when it did log in, everything was gone, but it did seem to count yesterday. Today it's counted 7 visits with 19 hits, which is absolutely not correct.

Also, just FYI between June 13-16, the Woopra script slowed down page load so much as to make an onload event unusable, so I removed the Woopra code from pages using that event during that time.

Thanks for the specific feedback, Tadd. We're working on tracking down the issue. We'll let you all know when we figure it out. In the meantime, the more specific information, such as Tadd provided, helps us a lot.

@Lorelle VanFossen

I run the Woopra on 2 WordPress sites and 1 non-WordPress site. I also run the software on two computers, one at home (WinXP Pro SP3) and one here at the office (Vista SP1).

The stats are back today, though it's quite obvious that it's missing about 50% of the visits and hits. For instance, WP Stats says my site got about 130 unique hits yesterday, where Woopra recorded 24. Google Analytic saw around 120 (they're always behind).

The member web stats page on is empty as well.

I run the client on XP and Ubuntu 8.04 to the same effect, and use the Wordpress plugin on my site if this helps.

Looks like there is a lots of these issues reading through the posts, when do you expect these issues to be fixed?

As rksdesign advises, if your website must rely upon your blog statistics, use the other programs you have been using if Woopra is experiencing some glitches. We are trying to track down this issue and your input has been very helpful, though it would help if you could be a little more specific.

Please let us know if you are using the Woopra WordPress Plugin, a manual version of the script, or another plugin or script. Please let us know the version of your operating system so we can implement testing on a similar system.

Thanks all for your input and keep it coming!

I've had this problem intermittently since last week, and at least once before (that time, was right before they released their major upgrade). My solution, and what I would recommend to everyone here, is do not abandon your current tried & true stats, use Woopra in addition to, not instead of.

Tto me, these figures are too important to trust to beta software. I run Google Analytics concurrently, so when Woopra struggles, I always know I have my backup.

I'm with you folks. MY main site is only available a quarter of the time. If I close the Woopra program completely and then restart it SOMETIMES I get the information. If I compare the woopra.com stats to like, WP Stats there is a HUGE difference.

As stated, I may have to just not use Woopra and just use WP Stats or (shutter) Google Analytic. I love how Woopra works (worked) but this last week it's been pretty well crap.

I'll say it's the beta stuff. I haven't changed anything and I'm running this on 3 sites actively .... problems with everything.

Hey.. That has been happening to me too. Started losing old data a few days ago. Just one day at first. According to Woopra I had some 400 page views and only 3 visitors. Right. Now all data has vanished into thin air. Hope it wil magically reappear though.. Love Woopra. Scared quite a few visitors off, though, experimenting with the chat function...

I've got a couple of sites registered and with in the last week they their stats have been ON and OFF...

I attributed it to the fact that Woopra is still in beta. I can only assume that things will be restored, but at this point I'm not putting a whole lot of stock in the stats them self.

From what I can tell my stats are still being counted but no being retrieved for me to look at. + Load time has increased for the search area.
