Hey Thomas

I wasn't having a dig at you :-) Laughing here. Sorry if it came across that way!

I would suggest if the development guys want to get the most out of their beta user community, they need to make it as easy as possible to get their user's interested topics back to them easily.

it's all a bit chicken and egg hey? You don't know where you posted and what you marked as favorites. But in order to get to your favorites, you have to go and find one of your posts, so you can see your avatar so you can then click the link ... Hmmm!!

Desperate for a favorites button on the Profile as a minimum.

I'll put another post so as not to sidetrack/steal my own thread here ... but we also need mail notification (we being us users trying to help Woopra guys!). Don't reply to this bit here - I'll post another under Website issues :-)

Mark

I agree it's not as obvious as it could be. I was just trying to help you ;-)

Traditionally bbPress has link to the profile in the top-navigation.

Maybe the Woopra-team could be convinced to make do something about this.

They could make the sidebar variable. By that I mean that if you're logged in you could see a box in the top-right of the sidebar, with all the appropriate links.

Even better would be if I look at a post where I'm participating in I'll see a text saying profile under my picture (if I'm logged in), but if you look at my input to the post it would say member! That should be possible with a if else argument.

Hey Tomas

That's <REALLY> not obvious or intuitive at all !! Why would the person who is posting want to click on his own avatar?

And ... top right of the webpage is "mark haller" - which when clicked takes me to "My Profile" ... but it's not. Or it is ... but ? :-)

See my problem?

I would never have found the favorites ever, if you hadn't pointed that out :-)

You just click the membertag beneath your avatar and name.

Here you will see a link saying manage your favorite:

Hi there

I've added three topics to my favorites. How do I go back to them?

I would expect to see them either before or after "Forum Hot Tags" on the right maybe?

I just added a new topic to my favorites. It then says this has been added to my Favorites (and the word is a click-thru) so I clicked it to see where it took me, and the breadcrumbs at the top show "Forums >> Favorites" ... which tells me if I click on Forums, I would see it there. but it's not there!

Heeeelp! :-)
