I'm very interested in a portable app (USB stick) version, too. Has anybody successfully done it, then?

Awesome.
Since posting this, just thought, could get a friend of mine to use thinstall with it. it creates a portable app out of any installation as i understand. It would force all reg keys and files to stay within the portable version. Very clever thinstall.

Run off a USB stick is exactly what i mean!

That works this way.

But, your configuration files are stored in the User home.

Well, what *I* mean is a version that can run off a USB stick... maybe this is actually trivial, if we have let's say a .jar file that can run anywhere Java can...!

relequestual, what did you mean?

I would like a portable version of the windows based client.
Im not always at my home computer, and would love to be able to use it other places, like college, uni or work.
