First of all, you forgive for my English it is not good. I have a similar problem. I have a proper domain quintohache.com and my blog is in quintohache.com/blog. I already obtained the approval on the part of Wopra but I get connected and there are no statistics in the blog. The blog runs in wordpress and already install the plugin and also the script of form manul. Thank you

Gracias

I
Hi John,
Thanks for the quick turnaround. However, I must add that the site I'm trying to register is on a dedicated server. If I'm correctly interpreting the Woopra approval process, the sequence goes like this:

(a)sign-up for a Woopra ("W") account
(b)get email from W allowing you to login to the members' area
(c)enter the web site details and submit to W
(d)wait for site approval from W

Thus, any web site which has been submitted but not yet approved cannot be re-submitted.

This may be what the cryptic "The web site is not available" means.

In the meantime, if one deletes the web site request while it is still pending approval and then at a later date wants to add it back, what steps should one take? Appreciate your help as I would like to put my web site into the approval queue.

Folks,

This can happen if someone else has already added the Web site domain that you are trying to add.

I've noticed that this can happen with Shared hosting provider accounts who are all under one domain name. The first one that grabs that domain name can track their area, but others can't.

So if you are trying to get:
SharedHosting.com/john/

And someone else has already grabbed sharedhosting.com so they could track their site:
SharedHosting.com/mary/

Then the domain is unavailable.

In the future we are going to work on a Web site verification system so that people cannot try to register other people's domain names. You would have to upload a file to the root directory of the server in order to be authenticated, or something like that. But we need time to work on that after the next release of the client software.

John

Hi,
I'm experiencing the same difficulty in adding my website for getting approval. I get the same message "The web site is not available". Could it be because I had added my web site earlier and then deleted it as I was not ready to add the script? BTW, this problem occurs only with a specific site that I want to add, I tried a few test sites and there was no problem in getting the approval form to work.

Eduardo,

I'm not sure I follow you. If you have been approved, you should see the approved website listed under the My Websites section the members area of Woopra.com. All that's need after the approval is for you to install the Woopra code on your website. The code is also listed next to the website.
