It's important to note that the same steps have to be applied to all of the archive templates. On the design page, there's a box below the main template box that has Category, Monthly, Weekly, Individual and Pages templates. You have to add the code above </body> in each of those templates and republish each one as well adding the code and republishing the Main Index and Archive Index templates in the top design box. It's a bit of a pain, but our blog has 1200 entries and the whole thing took about 20 minutes to wait for all the republishing. Works fine.

Becca - I'm not new to Typepad, but am a bit of a n00b when it comes to CSS and whatnot. I tried a couple things: I tried putting it in the CSS area (didn't work) and I also tried the Advanced Template Set and put it in the Index.html and it still doesn't work. I love the idea of Woopra, but I can't use it until an easy plugin or add-in is created :/

I'm new to TypePad (I'm a WordPress user at heart!)... Is the only way to edit the HTML to create an Advanced Template Set, then insert the Woopra code before the closing BODY tag there?

Thanks!
Becca

Ronni,

Could you be more specific about how you did that?...or direct me to a TypePad FAQ that explains how you did that. I'm not very adept at CSS.

I just installed Woopra on Typepad with no problems. I copied the code just above the </body> tag on all index templates and downloaded Woopra. It works beautifully.

We're hoping to have an easy Plugin or add-in for TypePad soon. Please let us know if you hear of one.

For now, adding the javascript manually into your sidebar, header, or where you can within the BODY HTML tag of your site will help. See the instructions in Woopra Installation Guide for specifics.

Can someone please post a step by step installation for Typepad. I notice that there are typepad blogs talking about woopra

http://www.bookofjoe.com/2008/04/woopra-live-cha.html?cid=112699114#comment-112699114

My blog is http://rainforestinn.typepad.com/

It is very hard to access PHP or anything in Typepad. You have to work with their terrible control panel.

Please help.

Thanks
