The Woopra 1.3 RC2 doesn't support multi-language. I could read the subject or title in other languages on version 1.2 beta but not on version 1.3 RC2. This issue lets me move back to 1.2 beta.

You mean the Web application version of Woopra?

If you have installed the newest version of Flash, just out, you might be having trouble. We've had reports of people having trouble with that update and are going back to the previous version - not just on Woopra but with Flash sites and features everywhere.

We're looking into this more. Thanks.

Hi there,

the one issue i always have is that it groups pages in dashboard=>my content by filename only (e.g. "index.php"), instead of grouping it by filename AND parameters or page title. so my page "search.php" will show up as
search.php :: search for green :: 65 hits

with a random title, but i would expect something like

search.php?q=green :: search for green :: 20 hits
search.php?q=blue :: search for blue :: 35 hits
search.php?q=red :: search for red :: 10 hits

Ah, that isn't the Web App version of the live stats of Woopra. That is the Members area.

Users can not rename websites or change their domain name or URL during this phase of the beta process. We'll make sure that ability is removed for now. I thought it was. Thanks.

If you would like to change your domain information, you will have to submit a new site for approval and delete the old one. When we come out of beta, the ability to manually change URL and domain information will be available, but not right now.

Let us know through the Contact page that you've submitted a new site and we'll do our best to approve it, but we're closing approvals in the next day or so to totally focus on releasing Woopra 1.3 Beta.

Yes I was in web app - memebrs area/My websites/click on Settings edit tab.
It then shows
"On this page, you will be able to rename your website, change your website's timezone exclude some parts of your page URLs and get or change your API Key"

so I tried to do what it says I can do - rename my website and got the error. I've just tried it again and get the same sort of message.

@paulrg: You tried to change the website through the Member Area > View Stats - aka Woopra Web Analytics (web app)? I've dug through the whole thing and it isn't possible.

The only place to change your website "name" is in the Woopra desktop client. You change it in the site tab.

Is that what you mean? Or did you try to change it another way? Thanks.

FYI, this post is about the Web App, not the Woopra Client or chat. Don't want anyone thinking they can chat through the Woopra Web application version. :D

As noted elsewhere in the forum [ http://www.woopra.com/blog/2009/03/15/woopra-13-rc1-desktop-application-released/ ] the chat feature is not working as it is undergoing extensive reconstruction. Thanks.

Chat is not work. As reported, it is under reconstruction in the release candidate.

We're tracking down issues with oddly formed dynamic query URLs. Many sites are doing away with those for many reasons, including SEO, so they aren't as "typical" as they used to be. We're working on resolving the issue to avoid fragmentation of the analytics results as can happen with such URLs.

Thank you for the awesome analytics!

Two issues I found so far.

1. Chat is not working. I've tested it with Firefox, IE7
2. On the Dashboard, panel 'My content' the pages are groupped by file name omitting parameters of get-request. For exapmle:
catalogue.php?catalogue_id=12 catalogue.php?catalogue_id=13 are being groupped as catalogue.php.

For what it's worth department:

I have 3 computers (2 Vista/1 XP) using Firefox 3.0.8 on all. Woopra (web-based) worked on one Vista computer and not the other two. I added Woopra to the popup exceptions list of FF and allowed Woopra (and all other scripts) on the addin No Script. Now all three computers can see Woopra.

well in work my other work mates machines seem to be able to open the web based software but i cant, so i dont think its a firewall issue as we are all on the same network, im using firefox 3.0.7, with the web developer and firebug plugins both running and live http headers. if that helps using vista 32 bit system.

We need to clear things up with this issue, and your help is needed.

Are all of you behind firewalls? I'm not and I have the same issue with IE 7 and we can't figure out exactly what is causing it since others with IE 7 aren't having this problem.

Can you check for errors. We don't need a list of all of them, but can you tell us what files/programs are reporting errors?

We're digging into this issue with shovels, and having a hard time reproducing it consistently across different machines, so all of us have something in common that is causing the connection failure in our setup for IE. As happens on this forum, if we work together, we usually find a solution. :D

Thanks!
