OK, It appears the java update reorders the java application runtime settings .. I had to move Java SE6 (64-bit) to the top of the runtime list in Java Preferences. (as per other posts).

This appears to have remedied the biggest problem.

However, woopra still won't log in.... I punch in my user and password in the client and it says:

"Connected! Loading Websites ..." (for a very long while)

Then ... "Disconnected"

i.e., this is back to where I started in the beginning.

For the past week I've had wonky behavior. The mac client would start to log in, and begin loading website info, then the client would stop and return to the login state again. I upgraded the mac to 10.5.3, and this continued. Then I though perhaps a new Java update would fix it.

I downloaded Apple's JavaForMacOSX10.5Update1.pkg which was released recently. This completely blew up the woopra client ....
