Thanks John - I really appreciate your taking the time to have a look at this. I've removed the Amazon widget (I'd prefer Woopra anyday!) and at least initially it appears that things are back up and running. Of course, now I've got an issue with my client not being able to login... foolish grin... but I'll wait that out. Probably some server issue or something. Cheers!

Jonathan,

We've investigated things on the back end here, and we are certain that the issue is on your end within the code. This is because when we load the page, we are not seeing the javascript request come through. Something is going wrong before the request comes.

I've been trying to figure out exactly what is going on, but what I can tell you from looking at your source code is that your footer is not even being displayed. I don't know how or why because it's in the source! Strange indeed...

You have many validation errors, which makes figuring out the problem more difficult:
http://htmlhelp.com/cgi-bin/validate.cgi?url=http%3A%2F%2Fjonathanboettcher.com&input=yes

If I had to just take a wild guess, it looks like that Amazon script in your sidebar might be causing the problem. But I am just not sure.

Wish I could be of more help, but all I can suggest is that you remove things from your sidebar until your footer reappears on the page. Then your WP and Woopra stats should both start working again.

John

When I first got Woopra (around May 1 ish) it worked perfectly right out of the box on my Wordpress 2.5 blog. For some reason (I didn't change anything) my stats stopped collecting around May 15 and haven't come back. Since then I've had another site approved and it has been working fine since May 21.

Interestingly, my WordPress stats also stopped working at the same time (May 16 reads 0). I don't think I have changed anything that could be affecting these, but of course I could be wrong.

Anyone have any ideas what could knock out both of these together? And more to the point, how can I fix it? I've checked my footer code etc.

Oh, the WordPress site that isn't working is http://www.jonathanboettcher.com.

Cheers
