  • I was tempted to complain, but then this is still beta. However, it seems that it's a case of two steps forward and one step back with this latest update.

In order to help the project, rather than moan, I have noticed that:

1.Previously stored event notification handlers have been lost
2.New event handlers are not stored between logins
3.Tag editing in the search page updates while viewing but is not stored
    4.Browsing history is lost
    5.Visitor numbers have been reset
6.Live View:Lookup History - all instances are shown as 'online' now rather than previous visits being dated correctly
7.Downloads briefly worked for me yesterday, but no more
8.Outgoing links seems to show in Search, but not in Live nor Analytics

  • 9.Website title in the top tab row has been reset, and is now only saved for the session if you edit it.
    10. A user can still be 'online' in the view/search view after 30+ minutes of inactivity
    11. Some inactive users as above are shown with a clock on the country flag, others are not - time elapsed doesn't seem to be a factor, so what does it indicate?

Thanks for your hard work, Ben - should help all of us ;-)

Additionally i encounter serious problem with the new client version on one of the iMacs here (runs on the other). Whenever switching to the LIVE tab the complete application hangs. This is reproducable every time. After all the whole application feels slow and laggy.

It's not only the LIVE tab - clicking anything (except from switching sites) seems the application to hang.

+1 on all the bugs Ben found. Especially the one about losing past history, and past tagged visitors. I spent a good amount of time tagging visitors, they are all gone.

Also, the chat doesn't seem to work properly. If someone closes the chat window, and I type a new sentence, a new chat window doesn't get opened.

    Couple more issues:

    1) I have duplicate stats shown for June 2, 2008 under ANALYTICS/OVERVIEW.

    2) I created new NOTIFICATION - and I get duplicate notifier-pop-ups for the single event. It's simply a Page URL notifier with no filters. I had several of these before the update that worked fine.

    Thanks!

  • The web client is not working. I used this as the stand alone client does not connect on my laptop running Vista on firewire. All other facts here are the same on my workstation running XP.
    Thanks

    MY bugs:

    1. all the visitors that came from google.com.br (the brazilian google) the search query doesn't show in the live stats (it shows google.com.br() or google.com.br(null) for all visitors), i don't know if this goes to the normal analytics too or not.

    2. My gravatar doesn't show in the live view too, i don't know if other ppl gravatar show, but mine doesn't. Can't find anyone to compare.

    3. The exit page should show in the live view (it's mmore a suggestion than a bug).

    4. the bar down in the client is kinda crazy, it shows -110203.11% for total time spent on page!

My major bug: The client is "Loading..." when I'm searching for recent visitors.

  • Hey,

I've just tried to run this here again and we're still getting the Connected! Loading websites. Has the woopra port changed from the MSNP yet as planned?

    Mark.

  • My client has just upgraded to 1.1.2.2, after looking through my list of bugs I can see that number 9 is fixed - I'm determined to find another fixed bug, cos I love Woopra!

It might be useful if a change_log.txt was released as well
