  • Hi folks, this is not a problem, but a placeholder for all the issues you uncover related to the new 1.3 Release Candidate 1 for Linux users. Please add them to this thread.

The "RD" tab under Referrers in analytics is messed up. The url/count/graph are all jumbled up on top of eachother at the right instead of all being left justified.

Also, not an issue, but how about the ability to show pagerank next to links in the "pages" section?

  • The RD tab was there for testing. Please ignore it. :D It will be gone in the next RC.

We'll add the pagerank for web pages to the feature requests. Nice idea. Thanks.

  • NOTE TO LINUX USERS

If you are using Linux 64-bit, you cannot use the open source version of Java with Woopra. You must use the official Sun version of Java.

We regret the inconvenience, but this is a Java and Linux issue.

  • This seems to be happening in Windows and Linux (I don't know about Mac) but I'm on Ubuntu right now, so I'll post here!

Another bug that still exists in 1.3 RC1 is that Dashboard:My Referrers doesn't do live update; you have to log out and then back in for the count to go up.

  • Installed on Mandriva Linux PWP 2009 works great except chat in the rest greetings to all team.

Notes for Mandriva users that are use KDE 4.1 or latest KDE 4.2.1
In the Woopa installation process not sure why the ".ICEauthority" ere chmod to read only, so next start of KDE wont be possible. Suggest that after install woopra chmod .ICEauthority again to 777 and all will be ok otherwise you wont be able to start KDE before you login as root and chmod .ICEauthority to 777. For novice that file will find in /home/yourusername/.ICEauthority. TXH

  • I've posted a few bugs, but there's been no response. My questions is simply; when will the old bugs from previous versions that haven't yet been fixed get attention before any more toys are introduced?

There is still a big silence on here if you highlight bugs. Yes, I know it's still beta, but as a long term beta
user and poster on these boards I feel neglected...

  • I'm sorry you feel neglected. We've been responding to as many bug issues and questions as possible.

The old version has been completely rewritten from scratch. Woopra 1.3 is a totally different animal. We are testing it right now and preparing the RC2 release. Few of the "same" bugs from 1.2 are in the new version.

I'm not sure which toys you are talking about. We've only released the Release Candidate for Woopra 1.3 and started testing the web app version which has been in development for a long time and finally seen the light of day. Was there something else announced I missed? :D

Thank you for your patience and your input on the new release candidate.

As for the issue you are reporting on, so far, is there any other reports of this issue with 1.3? Some are similar. Until we can reproduce the issue, we're trying to fix the ones we can.

Sorry my English is not very good and use a translator.
I'm using Woopra Beta 3.1 rc1 on my second day and will not let me burn in the nick 'Tag this visitor is', to renew the page are not saved.
And when I get the tickets two hours ahead of real time, I would change it to Europe-Madrid to know the exact time of the visits.
I hope I have understood, thanks.
