Hi,
I have a WordPress based Blog at http://meta.wops.de.
"meta" is a sudomain of my domain wops.de.
It is redirected via a 301 redirect (not a 302) to the actual address: wops.dnsalias.net/wp_meta.
I can't change the type of redirect (301) because my ISP configures that.
(And, btw, 301 is good because it's the only one Google follows. 302 redirects are duplicate content for Google.)
BUT ... Of course, I registered "meta.wops.de" with my Woopra account and got an ID for this sudomain.
Now, if anyone visits my Blog nothing is counted / taken care of in Woopra. :-(
I guess the solution would be that the URL in the Browser's Location text field should stay at "meta.wops.de/..." -- but I just don't know how to accomplish that. I asked at the (German) Wordpress forum but to no avail. Anyone who can help here?
I tried to enter any combination of "meta.wops.de" and "wops.dnsalias.net/wp_meta" into the two WordPress settings "WordPress address (URL)" and "Blog address (URL)" but only when I set these two parameters to "wops.dnsalias.net/wp_meta" my Blog is accessible.
Thanks a lot in advance,
Stefan.
