  • It would help a lot if the search was able to accept the NOT operator.
For example instead of searching for a certain ip address, it would be nice to search for everything _except_ one ip address.
You could allow the ! symbol as a prefix in the textboxes.

  • This is a good suggestion. This would have also pacified those of us who wished to negate our own IP addresses.

Clicky analytics has that feature! You can use the ! as a NOT operator in searches and filters. Its very useful.

  • Great thanks. I just updated to 1.2 and don't see it yet. Is there another release coming this week?
I tried to enter !x.x.x.x and also !=x.x.x.x neither of them works - yet :-) or have you implemented another syntax?

    Thanks for listening!

I echo what infoba says. I tried to filter by IP like "!xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx" I also tried "NOT xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx" What is the syntax for NOT operators?

  • At the moment you can use the NOT on all the fields except the Country & IP, I'm still working on those two

The IceMan. Elie was partly right, it seems to work for some fields but not others. I find it works for screen resolution and operating systems. It DOES NOT work for Countries, Visitor ID , Referrer/Keywords, or Visitor IP. Visitor IP seems to be the interest of this thread.

Take Visitor ID for example, I search "221" and it returns the 221 visitor.

I type "NOT 221" and it returns nothing.

You can type "NOT Windows" and it will return everything but Windows.
