When I launched Woopra 30 minutes or so ago, it began an auto update and took me through the finish button but now when I try to launch woopra, even after rebooting, I get this errorL

    ava.lang.ClassNotFoundException: com.woopra.client.Main
    at java.net.URLClassLoader$1.run(Unknown Source)
    at java.security.AccessController.doPrivileged(Native Method)
    at java.net.URLClassLoader.findClass(Unknown Source)
    at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(Unknown Source)
    at sun.misc.Launcher$AppClassLoader.loadClass(Unknown Source)
    at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(Unknown Source)
    at com.exe4j.runtime.LauncherEngine.launch(Unknown Source)
    at com.exe4j.runtime.WinLauncher.main(Unknown Source)

I'm running wordpress 2.3.3 with XP. Should I start all over?

god no... everything's fine with your software... it's an error with the woopra software itself.

I was experiencing the same problem. I just downloaded the program manually - installed - then attempted to start up, receiving the same error. Sure it's fixed?

  • Just downloaded the newest version (1.1.2.1 beta)!!!

    Works fine now... Thanks!!!

I just attempted the Windows download - it's beta version 1.1.2.0. Am I missing something?

  • I'm now running version 1.1.2.1, but the stats seem mangled for today and the visitor numbers seem to have reset. Event notifications are lost as well. Is this a temporary or permanent issue?

BUT, I'm now getting download and external page info which is fantastic.

i'm still getting the error.. also, I can't download version 1.1.2.1, the version I download is 1.1.2.0... guess that's the reason, but how do I solve it?

I got the same old message too after downloading the Win version. The link Elie provided isn't working for me either. I can save the file but then it wants to know what program to open it with.

Perhaps I should just wait till tomorrow and use the download page again?

  • Download the file with ?anyrandomtextafter and then remove the ?anyrandomtextafter from the filename - it just prevents downloading a cached earlier version of the client.

Auto updated to 1.1.2.1, it is running fine, but missing one of the features I really liked in the old version. I can no longer sort the search results by number of actions. Is this a bug or has that feature been removed?

I'm sorry, but I don't understand which place to download from or which step(s) to insert and delete ?anyrandomtextafter when I choose run. Should I be choosing save? This was so simple and flawless the first time.

I still can't get Woopra to load.

  • Download the file from this link:
    http://static.woopra.com/woopra_windows.exe?ellaella

Then, rename the file woopra_windows.exe?ellaella to woopra_windows.exe

It should now run and install normally.

  • I've gotten Woopra up and running again, but it's incorrectly reporting on past average numbers. Today Visits vs. Average Visits are way high because my 'average visit' is somewhere between 0 40 visits (way low). Plus under Analytics, the numbers for today are lower than what is actual (Refresh Data doesn't do anything). And I have two entries for today.

Are all these bugs going to require another download and reinstall? Or is this buggy data that will sort itself out eventually?

Thank you, Ben. I have 1.1.2.1 running now. Same pageview oddities as others mentioned but that's nothing. I'm just happy to have things working again.

I now have 1.1.2.1 - love the 'original referrer' feature for repeat visitors. Only gripe is the keywords used on the search engines isn't working. I get the engine but just have the brackets without any words in them.

    Referrer shows: "Google.de (null)" or "Google.de ()".

The links are working though - but it's a PITA to check Google for referring keywords.
