General Website Integration

    Hi,

    Is there any way to fully integrate woopra with a website/blog which is not one of the common blog applications (wordpress etc) so that woopra knows details about the user (eg, username) ??

    If not, is this functionality coming soon?

    Ah, you want world wide web domination by Woopra, huh? We're working on it, she says redundantly. :D

    We know people want to show off their stats to the world, and brag about Woopra at the same time, so we've got some fun things in mind for that. Stay tuned.

    Not sure if you're following me. I'm not asking to be able to show off my stats, or even access the stats through my website.

    As far as I understand, woopra will show you which users are logged on/have logged on, and what they have done/are doing.

    It does this because people have installed plugins on Wordpress and the like. I assume the plugin tells woopra the username of the user.

    What if my site is not a Wordpress site or any of the other typical blog platforms? How do I inform woopra of the username of the user who is logged on?

    I think we will pass a long a woopra_array containing name, email and avatar just below the woopra_id = in the tracking code, but I'll let an admin give us the correct answer. :)

    I hope its that easy :)

    Would be great if we could add some custom variables too - Eg, Membership type (free or paid), Membership expiry etc

    It seems that it is that easy :) I have it working.

    Not sure about custom attributes though.

    I will try to get this implemented myself right now... :)

    BTW: A little bird told me custom attributes are just as easy...

    ex. woopra_array['Membership'] = 'free';
