Firefox shows an open lock unless all links on a page are https. Is there a way to use woopra via https?

I tried changing the URL to https://static.woopra.com/js/woopra.js but it failed.

Not only firefox, but all modern browsers will not allow you to request any http javascript file from a secure context. For now there is nothing called https://static.woopra.com/js/woopra.js, but we will be providing full support for https websites in the future releases.

This is needed ASAP. The system looks fantastic and is going to be very useful for my eCommerce site BUT I need to be able to track users through my checkout pages. This must be one of the most important features for eCommerce users!!

Positive! More than 90% of our Website traffic is made over SSL. HTTPS-Support is definitively needed in order to use this powerful product on our site!

Thanks guys for your requests! We will be deploying e-commerce along with https support as soon as we are done with the long list of approvals. Meanwhile, feel free to post any ideas/feature requests, I will definitely take them into consideration.

How often are there updates to woopra.js? Would it be detrimental to host it locally (and securely)?

I would love this also - it is the main part of any ecommerce site. The woopra interface rocks - i have it on a big plasma TV in our office - but it would be even better with the checkout process being watched! real woopra $$!!

    Great product guys well done

  • Zumpner,

There is no way to know how often we'll change the JavaScript. I suppose you could TRY to host it locally, but I'm not sure what that is going to end up breaking. If you do try it, please report back as to the results.

As far as the addition of SSL support, there will likely end up being a nominal charge for this when we get around to it. We aren't going to charge much, but there will be a little cost.
