(I searched before I posted, so I apologize if this is a duplicate.)

When I click on any of the URLs listed under Analytics -> Referrers -> Webpages the link opens up incorrectly in my browser (Firefox 2.0.0.14, not that I need to tell you that). It pulls up HTTP.com and crams the actual link on the end of it. The http: portion of each URL is in yellow, while the // and the remaining portion are in white. Clicking on either color results in the same problem.

For instance, clicking on this link:
    http://www.woopra.com/forums/
The browser window opens up, but connects you here:
    http://www.http.com//www.woopra.com/forums/

    So...what's up with that?

  • I don't exactly see that problem but the URL isn't valid. What I experience is the URL is exactly as you see it on the Webpages tab but it's not a valid URL. Thanks for the report.

  • I saw the other posting but I have not experienced the problem. In either case, I have noted your report of your issue in our list.

I am experiencing the same problem:
    Screenshot:

My guess is this: insite links look like /page/2 or /2008/post.html and they are transformed for the browser in http://site.com/page/2 or http://site.com/2008/post.html . When the redirect ( 600 ) link is to another site, Woopra adds http://site.com/ to the link, even if it's external so it looks like this: http://site.com/http://theredirectsite.com/ . I don't know who to blame for the missing ":" after http in this link: Firefox or Woopra. With all due respect, I think is Woopra's bug.

Sure enough. Same problem. The screenshot omits the colon (:), but it's still intact in your post, l3st. Maybe habit auto-corrected you? Ha ha.

Cross-posting this new one (appears to be slightly different).

Maybe this is the same bug that iamvi mentioned?
