I understand the reason for the 10,000 hit limit during the beta period. But it actually prevents me from showing people how cool woopra is. My site hits that point some point in the early morning, and after that the Live tab doesn't do anything anymore. So everytime I I want to show someone how cool that page is, with the map and all, it just sits there because I'm over limit.

Besides letting us have or buy bigger limits, one way I was thinking you could get around this would be to let the user decide what time the limits reset. I suppose I could just change my timezone, but that seems a little too hacky.

Also, I had one question. When you do go live, are you going to clear the beta data? Because any sort of longterm average pageview counts are going to be artifically low due to the 10,000 pv cap.

But all in all I am absolutely loving woopra and I can't wait to buy it!

I love woopra but the limit is killing me. I'm willing to pay as much as it takes in order to utilize woopra to its fullest potential. Woopra is simply amazing.

  • The way woopra counts page views stinks.

One person can get 13 page views per second even though they are on only one page. This is a serious flaw in my mind.

Set up that way I hurtle to 10k in less than 4 hours.

I have made a few mentions of this phenomenon and have yet to receive and commentary from on high.

  • Shopsinc, our current plans are to keep all data, including the beta period. As time goes by, these few days of 10k limit will have a lesser effect on the overall average.

Slingblade, it may be a bug in the vBulletin plug-in (I think you are using it, right?) that affects the way the pageviews are counted. We are investigating this as well as working on the server upgrade project.

    Please bear with us.

"Commentary from on high" (not really)

I'd be interested in seeing an increase in the 10k limit. I currently hit that pretty much every day and hate missing the rest of the stats.

    Love the software regardless

Question 10,000 page views is a bit extreme with what I have running are all these sites forums ? If that is the case I can see how this is true with all the BS that goes along with em. (-=

Please no one take offence its just not worth it lol...

Another reason the 10k limit will hurt some of the beta testing, is we won't be able to compare with our other tracking code from Google or PMetrics, etc...

I just installed Woopra on Saturday, but I'm already seeing PMetrics catching more visitors, pageviews, than Woopra.. Hope it ain't so!

Are there any plans as of yet to what the limit will be once we move out of the Beta stages? Fortunately, and unfortunately, my online community does about 150k page views a day.

I also think adding a feature to set the times Woopra runs would be a good idea.

    Either way, great product! Thanks!

Call it penis envy but I don't think Woopra is much fun with much more than 10k visitors per day because you can't follow single visitors any more. Or is it?

I think about this every day (amid some slight anxiety and impatience).

It'd be nice if a Woopra rep came on and at least gave an ETA for when we can expect "full throttle" usability of Woopra.. is that possible?

    - Will you ever allow it during the beta period?
    - If not, how long do you expect the beta period to last? (best guesstimates)

Much appreciated, from an excited user who can't wait!

I this limit still in place?

I am pending approval for my site.

However I think I will hit this limit rather quickly.

What happens once you reach 10,000? Stats stop tracking, or just not viewable?

10,000 pageview limit? Is it still active? If so, my site will be capped out in a few minutes.

I was wondering why woopra stopped working! I took me less than 24 hours to get 10k hits. Thats kind of disappointing.
