I just received approval yesterday (5/15) and installed on one low traffic web site right away. I then downloaded and installed the Windows version. For sevaral hours all worked well. Then a change. While I can view the stats here on the web site, I cannot use the Woopra software. It quit working after several hours--and has not worked for at least 8-10 hours. I am seeing the messages:

    "Connecting to Woopra..."

Then a few seconds later I sometimes will briefly see:

    "Connected! Loading websites..."

And then I will get the message:

    "You have been disconnected!"

On occasion, I will see the main stats page briefly, then the login screen will return asking me to enter my user name and password to sign in. After 3-5 seconds, this will return me to the "You have been disconnected!" screen.

It also appears as though the system is no longer collecting stats on my web site.

Probably growing pains. For the time I was able to get into the stats using the Woopra application, it looks great. Keep up the good work!

Try closing and re-opening the desktop client. This will solve your problems for the moment. The next update will fix this bug.

  • If you are on Windows, go to taskmanager and make sure that Woopra stopped. I tried the stopping and starting and the problem was that when I stopped it, it was still running in task manager. When I ended that and then started it up, it worked fine.

Same issue with me. It was working great for the first month or so, now I'm starting to not even bother..

where are you guys on resolving this issue?

  • We're looking into this issue and should have it resolved soon. It's an inconsistent issue. Most people are simply waiting a bit and trying again and it works. Thanks.
