I just think that just depends on what page the user actually came from. Whether it be http://www.live.com or http://www.msn.com, we know that they are both literally the same thing. However to analytic programs, they track the exact site in which that search originated from.
That makes sense. Considering Woopra would know they are the same service, would it make sense to combine into the same search engine for analytic results?
