I'm using Woopra 1.2 RC2 Beta on a Mac PPC G5 with OS 10.5.4. I used it daily (and successfully) for about two weeks.

After a brief vacation, I tried to log in this morning and an "auto installer" attempted to update my Woopra app. After a few minutes downloading with the yellow progress bar reaching the end, a dialog box comes up saying "Woopra was not able to launch the update installer." If I click OK, the dialog goes away and I am left with the login window. If I click on Login, the process starts all over again, or Woopra closes. This latter behavior is erratic, but I can't get past the login window at all.

OK, the dialog additionally recommends that I download the new Woopra and try installing it that way. I did and got an error message while downloading stating that I shoulkd try agagin later. Strangely the download did show up later in my Downloads folder and running a straight install of 1.2 beta over the existing RC2 beta worked.

  • If you go to Apps in the finder... You will find the Woopra folder. In there is a uninstaller ( double click ) to remove.... Then download the latest version and install !
