Looks like with the new version the installer is still broken and has to be corrected manually by every mac user.

Could you please correct this error and provide a new installer?

  • Hi Helmi, I am having the same issue as you. Currently running OSX 10.5.3 - receiving a java error. However, there are a few members at the forum who are able to run it woopra successfully? Any help/tips, would be much appreciated!

    Thanks,
    Peety

Peety - I don't think that's the same error. This one is old. The installer bug requires you to manually change the info.plist file in the installer prior to installation, and then in the actual Application package too. I think that's what helmi is referring to...

But I agree - it seems like an easy goof to fix.

  • Hi Deas,
I manually changed the p.list and made sure that my Java was set to Java 6. However, I still am receiving a java error? What elsse do I have to change in the application package? Any help would be appreciated. It was working before I installed the update as of yesterday..

  • Hi Deas, I found out what the problem was. I did not make changes to the applications p.list , like you had mentioned I only did the changes to the installer. Thanks for your patience and understanding.

Glad you figured it out, Peety. :-) Still, I hope they'll repackage it. While it's not immensely troubling for us Mac users, it is a bit of an irksome chore. Mostly because it's unnecessary.

I have walked through all teh steps and changed the Java Prefs. Got the app to install but when I run it I get:
