I am too not getting any search results, and have not done so for a while (3-4 days).

Running the java client on two machines both Vista based although I doubt that has anything to do with it.

I have tried, on both machines, different search filters across different date spans and get nothing, the screen states 'Loading...' for a few seconds and then disappears and does not provide any results.
Of note I am also not getting any results using the members section her. And through the java client I can see the stats updating over time with all the visit numbers growing and all the graphs changing to it is logging stuff, just not returning results.

    Site information:
Wordpress 2.6, with code implemented using Woopra Plugin for Wordpress version 1.1.

Whatever this bug is, it seems to be spreading. Now, as well as no search results,I see nothing on my dashboard under My Content/page.

Same problem here - for a long time now.

Is "Search" actually working for any Woopra users at the moment?

Same here. This happened once before. My guess is you guys aren't getting any results from the Woopra site web interface either. Last time it took a couple weeks then one day everything started working. Let's hope we're on their fix list. Near the top, since I've been down since the upgrade mid-August.

    Running Vista.

I also have a blank search result page regardless of what I put in the filters.
Strangely enough it is only on some of my sites. Some of my other sites are working fine. Can not see any pattern.

    Please make fix soon.

I was hoping that this bug might have been fixed after the recent server maintenance. But now that I check, I have nothing in the search, and nothing on my dashboard under searches, content or referrers. This might be because the servers were down.

It is annoying that the staff has not responded to this thread. If only to say that they are looking into it.

  • I am still not getting search results, even after the last server upgrade in the first couple of days in Sept. I just get Loading... followed by a blank screen.

    Thanks

me too. When I use search I get No recent visitors, visits, tagged members, filtered, nothing. I emailed woopra about it weeks ago and have gotten no reply either. Just says loading data - then display 0 of 0 . My content page on dashboard works, though. ??? I use a MAC and a DEll- nada on both. When I log into the member website I get nothing as well under stats.

Something I just found out that might help is that at some point after August 30, all of my website IDs were changed without notification. Before my three sites had IDs that started with 21, and now they're all 29. I wonder if all the site IDs were reset and we're not seeing stats because we haven't gone into the Woopra settings area in our Wordpress admin areas and updated these IDs. Worth a try...

Yes, definitely interesting that they changed the numbers for you, but no biscuit for me. My id# is the same one I originally inputted on my blog. And though I still get results (who knows how accurate they are) in the analytics section, and if I keep my woopra desktop app open some results do show up on the dashboard, nothing else works.

I wonder how widespread this is? Woopra does seem to be working for some people, I imagine it must be the majority, or there would be more of an uproar on the forum, but it seems to be totally busted for some of us.

I'm going to try de-activating the plugin. I'm using version 1.1. I've been reluctant to go to the new version, as there are so many reports of bugs. But maybe I'll try that next.

After waiting a few weeks for the coding, I eagerly put it on tonight only to find it's not tracking anything. I'm teaching a class (http://www.GotClicks.biz) for "Measuring Results in GA and Woopra" next week and this'll be a bit embarrassing if I can't show anything. I hope it's resolved soon; they must be overwhelmed with the response and not have enough staff to answer all the inquiries.

Nothing since August 23. I am ready to cash it in. A month with no results is too long.

just wanted to chime in here and let the woopra team that i'm still not able to search "Show recent visitors" etc for my domain jonese.us the bealight.com domain works just fine though....

  • Could you please provide more information. Are you using the WordPress Plugin or did you manually add the Woopra script? Is the issue with the view of your stats on the WordPress Administration Panels or on the desktop client? What operating system are you using?

All these details will help us diagnose the problem and fix it if possible faster. Thank you.

    Update to my earlier post.

    http://www.defconsoft.co.uk

Using Wordpress Plugin 1.3.4 on blog side, manual script entry on my forums. Using desktop client 1.2Beta on two different machines both using Vista64 (1 home premium, 1 business).

Getting no results at all in browser here. Just 'Your query returned no results' on all aspects of the Analytic using the default month long date range.

In wordpress I am getting all analytics working fine.

In the desktop client Dashboard is showing stats, live is working fine, analytics is working fine. Search is not working at all and hasn't for about a month now. (Which was my most used tool).

    Hope that all helps.

Same problem - "Search" has not worked for more than a month.

NOT using Wordpress Plugin - added script manually a long time ago, and it was working before your last update.

Problem both exists in Desktop panel and when you try to view stats through Woopra.com.

    Windows XP SP2.

I've been experiencing this same problem for weeks now also. No search results for any searches in the Mac desktop client. There doesn't seem to be any problems with collection of stats etc.. though.

    Windows XP Pro
    Desktop client version 1.2 Beta
Manually installed client code into jonese.us & bealight.com

Search does not work for jonese.us but ALL other stats including Live appear to be functioning

If I stay logged in and leave Woopra open on my computer it does give me information on my dashboard, after it has been left open for a while. But still no results in searches. I'm finding little reason to check Woopra over the results in my WordPress dashboard.

I also can't search - the desktop client (for Mac) appears to be working fine for live data and analytics, but any searches return 0 results.

The WP plugin also returns 0 results for anything, as does the Woopra website. I'm using Woopra WP plugin 1.3.4 with Wordpress 2.6.1 and the Mac desktop client; I installed the code via the plugin.

    Lorelle,

I don't see what other information we can provide. Most of us aren't even getting stats here on the Woopra website, and as you can see from the comments, most of us had everything working before. We haven't changed a thing. I've read all the posts on the forums, and here is my sense of it, which I can confirm personally:

Online stats (here on Woopra) not available.

People who have the plugin (me) and people who added script manually are experiencing the same problems.

Visitor Search in the desktop client is unavailable.

The dashboard lists the daily overview, referrals, content accessed, and SE queries. Analytics and search are not working, but tracking is happening and daily totals are being tallied. Live view also seems to be working.

But visitor search is the main deal and it's NOT working. Again, no stats here in the member section.

Far as I can tell, hundreds if not thousands of folks have been having these issues since mid-August.

I've corresponded with several folks who've given up on Woopra. As one said, over a month is too long whether the program is free or not.

I believe my e-mail address is available to you on your own blog if I can provide further information.

I've been down over a month and have started to use other stat packages. We with new blogs can't wait forever to see what's going on while we try to build traffic.

If Woopra weren't so awesome when it works, we wouldn't be as frustrated as we are now.

Please forgive. We're all just hoping you can get it together so we can use the software again.

    Best regards,

    HAID
