Is the approval of adding new websites a manual process? I submitted my first website somewhere this morning, but it is still pending.. why is this such a time consuming task?

Will the next website I add take the same amount of time? Why?

I wish they would have just automated that validation of your website, have a script check for domain existence or do it like google, have us copy-paste a piece of meta tag or javascript code in the index to verify that i really own my website.. this sucks.

Hope to be validated sooner than a week..

I've been waiting over a week, I think. It's not clear to me whether I've made a mistake or not. Should I have a "Site ID" number already, even though I haven't yet been approved? It almost sounds that way in the installation guide, but it's not clear.

It did not help Amer, only annoys me more! it's a fast moving world - get with it or stay out. Don't offer things you cannot back-up, or at least make an official notice of the delay, maybe visitors can wait a month then. Ridiculous!

  • Woopra is in CLOSED PRIVATE beta testing. We've opened up approvals to many more than planned looking for extensive feedback. We currently have more than 30,000 using Woopra and the feedback coming in steadily is helping us make Woopra better and more stable for public release soon.

We appreciate your enthusiasm, and your frustration. Most programs of this nature rarely allow more than a few hundred to have private access for testing purposes. We're very proud of Woopra, even with all its growing pains, so we opened the door wider.

We've always said Woopra was by approved invitation only and for beta testing purposes only.

Thanks again for your support and encouragement and patient while we work hard to make Woopra stable enough for everyone.

    Thanks Lorelle.
To be honest, Google Analytics sucks and messed up with blog analytics.
I'm patient. Can't wait to use Woopra!
