    @sambeckett,

    Woopra beta only works for sites with less than 10,000 visits a day(as stated on the site) which is why it may have stopped working although I thought it was supposed to just drop the older data at that point.

    Anyway, two sites pending approval but since Woopra is still very young and is only in beta release right now, I'm fine with waiting, no problem. I'd rather wait until you Woopra folks have the hardware/software in place that can handle an increased amount of users and even more above than taking on more sites than you can realistically handle.

    I remember the "Pmetrics" fiasco when they first came out. Over a half a year of outages and downtime because they released way too soon and found out after the fact that their systems could not handle anywhere near the sites they had approved for use. Absolutely unacceptable on "Performancing.com's part so take your time and get it right, yes?

  • Same, waiting to test. And still can't understand the reason you've introduced this approval process. Every testing should exprience high load to prevent such problems in future. You will not be an exclusion from this rule, so you'd better remove approval process and let people crash-test your system.

    me too.... have to agree with many of the comments here.

    Sign up and installation was MORE than a little misleading!

    Us web folks are used to instant action in our webservices (even DNS changes happen in hours for me, not days, weeks or months!!!).

    The service "looks" great but I can't really say because I'm still waaaaaiiting.........

    one word.... automate

    If it takes 6 weeks to get a website approved, maybe you shouldn't have hyped your stuff in the Financial Times today. If a human being has to approve every web site submitted than there is something Wrong with your model.

    still waiting for pending approval and we are a business site and wonder how long it would take to get approved and use it and see what it really does.

    From original post" "The popularity of Woopra is growing at a faster rate than just about any other service I've seen on the Internet. ....At times, we are also getting hundreds of signups per hour."

    How can you take so long to moderate sites then if your new service is so popular?
    Surely this will just put people off coming back once you are up and running correctly?

    Just a suggestion to woompra. I hear ya when you say your in closed beta and your letting people in slow. If this is the case I think it would be best to do it like most others do and use invite codes. This way you can limit the amount of people you let in, instead of having them be disappointed when 2 months later they still havent become approved. ^^

    Ive read the comments and Ive signed up, am I hopeful... sure. but also in my mind reality sets in and I know that I probably wont be approved. I think you leave a bad taste in peoples mouths when you have a big button that says 'sign up' , and yet when people do they receive nothing... Put a badge or a sign that says were in closed beta you may not be accepted or something. When your most commented post is about not being able to use a product they have already signed up for, you know somethings wrong.
