Really lengthy visit !

One of my Live visitors has been visiting for 88 hours. Another has been visiting for 27 hours.

Wonderful as it is, I doubt that my blog is that fascinating. I suspect that something is "stuck" somewhere.

Is there any way to unstick that visitor or delete them or something?

Was this ever resolved? I am wondering if you deleted the Woopra code from the page being "visited", uploaded it, and then added the code back in and re-uploaded. That might shake something loose.

There's another possibility. Perhaps the visitor likes it so much, he has it in a tab on firefox, and never turns his computer off.

In order for a visitor to be showing active, their window must actually be open. The Woopra javascript is calling back to the servers every 12 seconds, so until that page is closed we report the time as continuing to increase.

Some people have argued that they aren't interested in "visits" like this because it skews their averages. But technically speaking it is absolutely accurate, and that's what we're shooting for with Woopra.
