I tagged myself and some friends but the tagging only seems to work for a few hours before they are "visitor xxx" again. I checked and the ip/host/browser/os all are the exact same so it should still show them as the tagged visitor.

As a side note, i added downloads as an event and it doesnt seem to work. I have downloaded and had others download multiple files from my server and they never pop up. I left filename blank so it would count any file.

  • Thanks for the input. We'll take a look at these issues. What OS are you using?

I am currently on a borrowed laptop running XP, but when I was on my linux laptop the events didn't work at all. I somewhat expected that on linux but figured the XP version would work more as expected due to wider platform usage.

I am on a windows XP laptop (PC) and I am finding that if I tag live visitors it shows up in the search area. If I tag visitors in the search area it shows up under Analytics>Tagged Visitors but not in the search area. Sometimes it shows up a day later in the Search Area.

When the "Members Area" of the Woopra website was working for me (It isn't now). It always had all the tagged members I had created, so I figured eventually the software would come around to also having all the tagged visitors.

  • I'm having tag problems as well.

All is well if I tag a live visitor.

If I tag a visitor in the search area, it usually does not stick.
I have tagged a visitor while live, and now I can not rename that visitor.

    (I'm using Vista)

    Same problem here...

If I tag a visitor live, it holds. If I tag a visitor in search, it does not hold. I have been told by Woopra that if a visitor is tagged in search, the next time he or she is on the site, the tag appears. Unfortunately, it does not.

Waiting impatiently for Woopra for https.

    Keep up the good work!!!
