    Hi...

If I tag a visitor in "live" the tag does not hold. However, if I tag the same visitor in "search" the tag holds.

    Anyone else having this problem?

  • I can't get tags to stick from Search view.

I have some visits tagged from version _before_ 1.2RC2 - can't remember which view I tagged them in.

Tagging doesn't seem too convincing yet. Hope the Woopra people get it working well, 'cause it's a great idea :-) BTW, can you (Woopra) reveil what the tag sticks to? I mean, if someone moves their pc around locations, it will have different ip addresses - will that show up as different users, or do you use a cookie, or the Mac-addres or?? :-)

    Further update...

I just did a search for "recent tagged visitors" and it pulled up "visitor #9509" in the list of tagged visitors. This is the visitor that I had tagged earlier. Obviously, the program is TAGGING the visitor, but not NAMING him or her. Hope this information helps.

  • I'm using Woopra on several pc's. If I tag a visitor using pc1 should I be able to see the tagged name on pc2, or is it local information to each pc, and thus need to tag it again on pc2 (and every other pc using Woopra)?

All the data is on the servers, nothing is saved on your local pc.
Thanks medalia for reporting this, one thing you need to know is that for the current version of woopra, everytime you tag a visitor you will be able to see his name in the search results starting from the moment you tag him, but older visits for that same visitor are not updated.

    Hi Jad...

Thanks for your response. However, that is not what is happening. When I take a NEW visitor and try to tag him, the name does NOT stick. I'm not talking about older visits, I mean the most current one. This is relatively new...just the last 2 days or so.
