  • My stats show I had 10,000 page views today and now i'm not getting any stats via the client. Zero. Is there throttling going on or something?

There is an 10k pageviews limit during beta.

Pcigre is right. One of the original conditions for the beta was the 10k pageview limit. Before the mass invites, it was a requirement to be invited into the beta. During the live service, Im sure that wont be the case.

  • Well that's a real shame, 10,000 is not much. I didn't see any reference to this when I signed up. Was it removed? I hope they allow some higher traffic sites (cough) to take more than this to really test the system.

    Dear all,
You all know that woopra allows a daily traffic of 10K pageviews.
In addition to that, we introduced an extra -monthly based- 100K traffic pack for websites that occasionally receive higher traffic from sources like digg.com or stumbleupon.com etc...
But... Websites that frequently exceed the daily 10K are going to be limited to 10K hits per day once the monthly quota is zero.
However.. since we are in the early beta, we are going to increase the daily limit to 100K.
Note that this policy will not be applied by default, so if you want extra traffic, feel free to request.

Don't see a link to do this, so I'll just post an open request for the higher daily limit on the site http://saints.sqpn.com

    Thanks, much.

  • Jad Y. Cheers for that, I humbly request rockettheme.com be added to that 100k list :) Thanks.

  • As Jad said, the logistics of handling requests and such are all in the works. To contact Woopra, see our Contact page.

Be warned, you are privileged to get access to the "full" version of Woopra. We may change Woopra before it is released in order to monetize and add new features as benefits that not all sites will want. We will have a way of going beyond the limits set during the testing, but for now, this helps us improve Woopra without breaking the bank on server costs before we even get started. :D

One step at a time, folks. One step at a time.
