Tips: The Map zooms in and out!

    In keeping with the "Tips" concept that Shane started, I wanted to point out that if you use your mouse wheel you can zoom in and out on the geographic maps. You can also drag the map around by clicking and dragging.

    Once you know this, it seems quite obvious. But for the longest time I wasn't even aware that they would do it!

    It seems to me that the scroll wheel behaviour is back to front - my instinct tells me (and I get it wrong every time - I don't learn...) that scrolling up will zoom IN, scrolling down will zoom OUT.

    This is the behaviour on Google Maps - would it be possible to swap it around? What does anyone else think?

    No matter which way I scroll it zooms out. I can't get mine to zoom in at all.

    Thanks for the tip on the scrolling in and out I didn't even realize that feature. I did notice right away how uncomfortable it was to have the scrolling feature set this way though. I put a strong vote in to have it switched to the opposite.

    When you zoom in on the map can you see a more granular view of the users than just the Country level? i.e. which state they are from or which geographic location within a country.

    Our business is focused on the US market so tracking visitors by country is irrelevant... tracking by state or by city would be incredibly useful!!!
