Where should I place the tracking code?

Hello!

I have my approved account ready, and when I click on "Code" (at http://www.woopra.com/members), I see "For more info, please refer to the Installation Guide", but for the life of me I can't find the Installation Guide.

I'll just put it next to my Google Analytics code I guess, but is there a recommended area to place the Woopra code?

I recommended placing it at the bottom. The closer to the </body> tag as you can get, the more accurate. Sometimes a user might load a page, then change really quickly. Putting it at the top would register that visit way to quickly.

There's a link to the Installation Guide on the Client software download page. I think that page may have the only link to the Guide. We'll try to improve that.

yeah exactly all tracking code no matter what it should be put in just before </body> so the code doesn't slow down pageload in your site.

i have a joomla site...can anyone give me the specifics of placing the code or do i need to have the developer do it?
