    System ifo:

OS Name Microsoft Windows XP Professional
    Version 5.1.2600 Service Pack 3 Build 2600
    System Manufacturer HP Pavilion 061
    System Model PC111A-ABA a645c
    System Type X86-based PC
    Processor x86 Family 6 Model 10 authenticAMD @2200Mhz
    Total Physical Memory 1,024.00 MB

Woopra client 1.1.2.2 beta (July 11 release)

Looks like the Woopra client has a fair memory leak.

Using Sysinternals' "Process Explorer" I'm seeing memory use on an initial startup at 56+MB before login and ramping up to 75+MB once logged in and the interface is fully loaded.

Once fully loaded, I minimize the client to the Task Bar (no icon shows in Tray for this build, a reported bug) and memory use drops to about 3MB and slowly begins to increase. After approximately 3 hours minimized to the tray, the program is using over 110MB and has locked up on one occasion. The top end memory use over a set period of time varies somewhat but there's always that steady increase in memory usage over time.

According to it's properties in Process Explorer, the program is initially assigned a peak working set (memory) of just over 77MB and has often exceeded that.

I'm thinking that even though Woopra is constantly being updated with new data that it's memory use should level out, remain at a reasonable level and not increase. This constant increase points to a rather bad memory leak in the program

Hope this is the kind of info you're looking for.

Good deal! I love it when dev's actually respond to feeback. I remember all too well the debacle that occurred when "Pmetrics" was first launched and almost all feedback was met with dead silence. The "Performancing" group lost a lot of potential customers due to that silence.

I made one small error though. I should have said "minimized to the Task Bar", not the tray.

    Thanks for the response, Elie.
