    Admins -

Ever since the upgrade, I've noticed the issue... people are staying "live" when they've left minutes/hours ago.

Currently, I quit Woopra desktop and restarted it and it still showed 6 live users... all were timed out and have been for hours.

Is there a way to fix this?

Im not sure Admins are aware of this issue. Ive seen lots of posts about ppl noticing this issue, however Yad said that the users will stay "live" as long as he/she have the site open in his browser.

Well I doubt that users have the site open for 4-5 hours as ive seen my visitors be on my live stats. Some ppl here mentioned even 12 hours :)

I bet there is an issue here, and I hope admins will get hold to it

    Thanks anyways

A suggestion: add a button to hide "sleepers"(visitors on the site that haven't changed pages in say 10 minutes)- that way you can see the "sleepers" if you want to and if you don't, then hide them by pressing the button. I use a program called Sales-n-Stats that does that.

Medalia - how do you add a button? Talk to us non-geeks! :)

  • jeffmccord: I'm pretty sure medalia were talking to the admins - I don't think we have tho opportunity to add a button - unless you're a very good programmer and magician. :D :p

But the suggestion of medalia is good, but the number of the 'sleepers' shouldn't be counted in the live-tab

You're right MacGeeky...it's part of the program. However, the user has the option to set the amount of time before a visitor is considered a "sleeper."

  • I have one in particular who has been listed for over 51 hours, I'm sure I'll find more.
